Complaint Review: Mobile Monkey - Boston MASSACHUSETTS

I learned about Mobile Monkey from a live marketing seminar where the founder, Larry Kim was interviewed. I remember seeing Larry Kim on popular influencer YouTube channels and felt I could trust him.

I signed up for his Mobile Monkey service plan.

After signing up and signing thier lengthy contract, I started getting emails saying that the some features were not included in the plan. I emailed back saying then cancel our agreement. They agreed to cancel.

A week later, the emails kept coming. I called tech support and kept getting a voicemail. No one would return the phone calls.

I emailed support and billing. Got the run around. Thankfully, we recorded the Zoom sales call where the sales rep said we would get certain features.

(I recorded our Zoom calls, phone calls, text messages and email messages) Sent to leadership at Mobile Monkey. This is when they begin to ignore our requests.

I reached out to the lead sales person and was given the run around. Same with tech support. Same with billing department.

We even reached out to the founder Larry Kim and he actually responded to our messages. In the beginning he was kind and helpful... but in the end, ignored our requests and allowed his company to continue charging our credit card each month.

The service was buggy and confusing to use.

Furious that we signed a contract and was lied to by Mobile Monkey sales team, I called my bank. They immediatley agreed to disupute the charge and block the company from charging our card in the future.

3 months later, Mobile Monkey is still charging our credit card on file.

We have spent countless ours on hold with the bank and tech support and still being forced to pay this scammer company thousands of dollars a month.

When I went to write negative reviews online, I expected to see thousands of bad reviews, but could not find them...initially.

Looks like this company is doing SEO to push down and hide the negative reviews... they have hundreds of odd and possible fake positive reviews on large review sites wher you can pay to play.

Our goal is now to share our experiences with Mobile Monkey, Larry Kim and his employees to as many people as possible.

Each month our credit card is charged, this will fuel my determination to continue sharing how they scammed us and thousands of others online.

When you do a search in Google for thier business location, the photos of outside the building show a boarded up and delapated old building.

Larry Kim and his partners are running a company that is scamming thousands of small business onwers during  time where most are struggling.

Larry Kim and his team did the same thing with thier last company, WordStream.

They are scamming businesses out of millions of dollars and getting away with it...for now.

Stay away from this company. Do not download thier "Free" chat bot either. The headaches and trouble you will experience will not be worth the "Too good to be true" sales pitch that their team shares.

Mobile Monkey says they are the best chat plugin.

In real life, they are scamming businesses.
