Miss Cleo's Tarot Readings ripping off her customers
I almost went to work for Miss Cleo's network of Tarot readers. While I DO read the tarot cards, I didn't meet anyone working in her "call center" in Ironton, Oh that did read before they were hired.
Your instructed to keep the caller online as long as possible. If you are on the phone for 60 minutes, that's a $300 phone bill.
If you ask, "What was that tone?" we are told to say we don't know, but we know it's the tone that signals the end of the "free" 3 minute call.
Want to talk to Cleo? It's not going to happen. Her commercials say to call and speak with her, but what you actually get is someone off the street who did 4 days of training and is now a "tarot reader". It's a total scam, and I, in good conscience, couldn't read for that company.
Just to let you all know...you can have 1 phone call to "Miss Cleo" taken off your bill by saying that a child under 18 made the call. Do NOT call the 900 number to speak to customer service! The call will be routed to any of thousands of "call centers" and the "supervisor" you speak with will be just on of the so-called "readers" working the line. You'll be billed for every minute!
As a respectable reader, I couldn't take advantage of those who truely NEED help or of those loney souls who just want someone to talk to!
If you want your cards read, be smart! Find a reader in your area and pay the going rate of $30.
