Complaint Review: MINT CARPET CARE - Corsicana Texas

 This "incident” is literally made up. I find it appalling that people are even allowed to slander businesses with absolutely no proof. If any of this story were true, they would absolutely have the right to sue us and would easily win. We have protocols. Show me the work order and the approval. Without either of those then this fake name person has never done business with us.

This sounds like a guy named John who we used as a subcontractor for painting several months ago. It was agreed that he’d receive payment upon completion of work (via text, you know.. that I can actually prove all of my statements unlike this slander). He called Blake an hour or so into the job saying he will not complete it unless we send half immediately because he was broke and would be homeless by the end of the day.

Blake STUPIDLY did so without speaking to me and then this jacka*s calls another hour or so later saying he needs the rest or it won’t be completed. At this point Blake finally tells me so I called John and asked him to leave the property. I told him we could not pay him until it was completed like we all agreed before he began. He threatened me, called me names and refused to leave the property.

I had to have a police escort but by the time we arrived it was late and he had just barely left (per the neighbor) and all he had done was the first coat of paint on SOME of the walls, not all and didn’t touch any of the doors. So he got paid $200 to do practically nothing. His fake reviews were removed from google after I sent them all the proof. He used many fake names and I am just now seeing this one.

I’ll have to ask Blake what his last name was as I don’t remember but I have sent this to my attorney. We WILL sue this site and/or this person for defamation and slander. Y’all should require proof of all accusations before allowing this nonsense. If ANY of our many reputable property managers or owners had been contacted by one of ours subs, we would’ve known about it immediately. We’ve been doing business with all our clients well over two years without incident including the President of NARPM.

We do not do business the way this BS story claims. That is why John was unable to sue us for work he didn’t complete. We still have all the texts and threats that prove he is an unstable psychopath and that he didn’t complete the work. We have proof of the sub contractor who DID complete the work he barely started and was paid promptly. None of our PMs home owners or tenants have ever been contacted by any of subs.

We do much more thorough research on our subs after this incident. We were just in a bind at the time with all our regular painters tied up with other jobs of ours and there was a tight deadline so we had to find someone to do it quickly. Never again!!!! If this isn’t removed, we will take legal action and I can prove EVERYTHING. Maybe y’all require these people to do so before you allow slander!
