Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have been a MetroPCS customer for 4 days and already their company has left a bad taste in my mouth. I purchased a phone from one of their authorized dealers here in Orlando, Florida on Wednesday, April 25th, 2007, which was actually a pretty good experience, the salesman was very helpful. The problem began on Saturday, April 28th, 2007. I had been using my phone without any issues until Saturday morning, when the phone started acting up. The phone would shut down and reset itself without being touched. Then the e-mail application, mail@metro, would start up and within seconds the whole phone would freeze up.

I called the location where I bought the phone and was instructed to go to a MetroPCS corporate store for further assistance. I brought my phone into the corporate store on Sand Lake Road in Orlando, Florida. The associate checked out my phone and told me that the phone was defective and he would be happy to give me a replacement phone. This was all find and dandy until he gave me a refurbished phone. I paid $250 for a brand new phone 3 days prior, the phone had 90 minutes of time on it, and this guy told me that all he could give me was a refurbished phone, which still continues to have the same issues. I could have gotten a used phone off the internet for $150, but I wanted a new one, so I paid the extra $100 for new, and now 3 days later, I have a used, refurbished phone.

I am extremely disappointed with MetroPCS. I had better experiences with (((ROR redacted competitor'name))), the carrier I left for MetroPCS. I am glad that there are no long term contracts with MetroPCS, because if no one can tell me why a 3 day old phone was traded for a refurbished phone, then MetroPCS is not who I want to do business with and neither should you.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome! Read your metro promise information, thats why it was switched out for a refurbished phone, it had over an hour of talk time on the phone itself, that corporate store actually did you a favor in switching the phone out for a refurbished one normally they would have charged you for it -MetroPCS CSR
