Purchased vending machine 06/13/13 paid extra $100 for 2-year full coverage warranty (all mechanisms of machine including coin mech, bill acceptor, refrigerant system). Terms of warranty clearly defined in bill of sale.
In mid October the machine's coin changing mechanism stopped working. I called Dave McDonald(owner) to come out and take a look. He came to location and removed coin changing mechanism(filled with my change 20 something dollars), he said he'd return when he located new component or was able to fix broken component.
Two weeks went by and heard nothing from Dave McDonald(owner). I proceeded to call Dave to check on status of mechanism, and he assured me he would be out within a few days to replace. Another week went by and no word from Dave, I proceeded to call him again(11/11/13). This time he assured me he would be there first thing the next morning.
Tuesday morning comes, Dave nor the coin mechanism are anywhere to be found. I called Dave again(upwards of 10 times) until he finally answered, to inform me that it was an employee screw up and would call me back within a few minutes after resolving issue. I did not hear back from Dave so i proceeded to call back several hours later (upwards of 10 times) until he answered again. Dave McDonald assured me that he had resolved issue and his employee would be there the next morning (11/13/13). Needless to say Dave nor the coin mechanism, nor his employee ever showed up. He will not answer no matter how many times I call or leave voice mails.
It may not seem like a huge deal, however I am a college student(funds are tight) just trying to make something of my own .

AS FOR Vinny if not for your RipOff report you would still be lied to with endless excuses like all the others . AS FOR Dave Mcdonald , funny - 30 plus people on this forum and other forums all with same exact same story Lies , excuses , no shows , mother lying , court fees and legal actions, blames everyone else . the best line is he blames an employee forgetting or what ever , the only and now x employee has him in court and has Ripoff Report here also. can they all be wrong ?

repair to vending machine has been made. As for $20.00 dollars of coin mech money that was also returned with repaired coin mech. The college students time line is quite off as it was 11 days not 30. the implication that the mech and coin mech money was never going to be returned is just wrong. as for him calling ten times a day that is true and i spoke with him at least twice every day. bottom line rip off report had nothing to do with his repair taking place it was being taken care of and he just read other unrelated crap and felt this was the avenue to take. amazing how people have no problem writing things that they dont have the guts to sign there name or put a name to it. again this venue is horrible and very unfair. people can write anything on this site and truth has nothing to do with it. time the people that write crap just to be writing it grow up. anyone has issue with me be a man and call me and any issue will be corrected. this is just wrong.

Wow McDonald has his own section of ripoff report with a trail of victims all with same dealings. Sorry to read you made the list , keep us updated.
took one of my coin mech in for repair and the repair guy told me of machine McDonald sold to a guy for an outdoor location where he went back some time later and removed the coin mech all nicely unbolted and then locked the machine back up.
Since my first phone call with this guy and his rambling didn't sound rite I found ripoffreports on him i now check and search ripoffreport .....thanks ripoffreport !
