Lindeberg Financial - Wilmington Financial Trust Watch out when you receive a phone call from a big liar ripoff company named Lindeberg financial Shelbyville Kentucky
I received a phone call around the first week of October 2007 from a lady named Shelly Diaz she said she received my loan application from the internet and I'm approved for a personal loan of $5000 at a lowest interest rate due to the sweet deal she was giving me and sounded like a trustful person I decided to go on and process my loan since Im badly in need of money at the time.
I didn't think twice of the deal because she even email me the contract and everything that I need to sign for our agreement and at the end of the paper is the name of their President and CEO Martin Armstrong thanking me for submitting my loan application.She asked me for a collateral or insurance in the amount of $850 and send it by moneygram thru the named of Rob Judy in Halifax Canada and so I did, I asked my wife to go get the money from a payday loan eventhough I know that I was broke at the time I did all what I can to get that loan.
According to her the money would be directly deposited into our bank account in less than 2 hours as soon as they will receive the collateral money ($850.00). Also, she had me fax a copy of my driver's license, a copy of my paystub, our bank account number and all other supporting identities I have and now basically they can steal my identity and use it for another illegal purposes they're doing because I faxed her all my information.
After she received the money $850 she said she would call me back in 40 minutes because she has to process the loan with her lender I waited in more than 40 minutes and phoned her back I could hardly reach her anymore until she finally conversate with me and said that they run through some troubles and I require to put down another $600. I told her that just refund me the money and cancel everything because I cannot afford to send her anymore money. I told her that I just asked my wife to borrow that money to a payday loan and I need it back right away because I need to return it within 24 hours to avoid paying a big amount of interest and all she replied was, it would take 3 to 4 weeks to cancel the loan and she is going to email me the required documents I need to sign for the cancellation until now I haven't recieve any of those papers or any phone call from Shelly Diaz.
I had tried to call her almost everyday but she never pick up or another person would answer and say can I take your message and she will call you back or she's at lunch,vacation , maternity leave, or she quit or call us back another person will come in such, such day to help you and if I ask deeper question about her they would hang up the phone and when I try to call them back they will never ever pick up.
I'm in need of a lawyer or anybody who can help me to catch this people and get my money back and protect my identity.This people put me more in big financial trouble including my family. The extra money that I supposed to spend for food to feed my family is just going to the interest of the loan that my wife had gotten to that payday loan for me just to send to this swindlers. I want to see all this people be taken down to jail and let them suffer. I am willing to be in the witness stand to show them all that this people are scam and I will not tolerate them to victimize some more people.

We went through the same thing. Intrepid Financial Services took us for close to 4000 dollars. we lost our house his truck and my car. we had to put our wedding off after payin for dresses and tuxes due to not getting the loan. we then recieved a phone call from Lindeberg Financial Services who not only called but emailed as well. I contacted the television station as well as the local police department. i was told to write to my congressman that every couple of yrs if they have enough complaints they go after these a-holes and usually get people their money back providing they have proof that they sent money and never recieved anything. i wrote a nice long letter to my congressman and included copies of the western union forms as well as a copy of the loan agreement. They use western union and money gram for the transactions as to not commit a felony askin for money through the mail is a felony. wiring the money is not. hope all works out for everyone this has happened too

i had a simular company like this one but it had a different name contact my husband saying that they received a online app that we filled out.i was a little confused because we wasn't at the time looking for a loan.so i thought here's a nice cat and mouse game i could play with these f**kers.i told my husband to hand over that phone and i asked them for the name of their company but i didn't mention that i was going to do some investigation on them.so we played like we we're interested in getting the loan and told them to call back in about 3days.well doing my investigation i found out they had scammed atleast 4 people who had medical problems and kids.and thanks to yahoo answers i wouldn't have known a thing about them.here's were the red flag went up! they said we were approved for 6000.00 but we had to put down 875.00 insurance fee because of our credit,mind you they don't even have our ssn so how would they know about our credit? REMEMBER GUYS NEVER PAY MONEY TO GET MONEY! anyhoo that's where i told my husband this has to be a scam because you don't pay money to get money and if you do pay money to get money why do you need that loan if you already have money?so after my investigation they called back and i was started asking questions like: how did you get our ssn(the online app doesn't even ask for your ssn) if you didn't ask for it? all they could say was we gave it to them.that's when i responded your online app doesn't ask for a ssn they response was:silent.so then i go on about the reports i've read online about them and all they could say is everything was a lie and they don't scam people.so my next response was you better loose my number before i buy a plane ticket to canada and pay you a visit.i've never heard from them again and i bet they were shocked i knew about were they are calling from.

We are in the same boat you guys and we are trying as well as you are to get ahold of someone who will take these people on.But since it is in canada they really wont help. But if you find someone we will be here to stand by you vegas is only a 4 hour drive and we will be there . I am so sorry again for this and my best wishes to you.
