It is true, I have a copy of an email that said they are working on a way to identify more negative ratings and remove them. This was late last year. Additionally, this practice (and it is written in the TOS etc) is dichotomous to their advertising that refers to the rating system as a mechanism to assiste clients make good choices (not those words exactly...but i will look it up tomorrow) Anyway, what it amounts to is false advertising and supporting fraud. There are so many inconsistencies between their advertising and their practice. For example, I have an advert that says their psychics are accurate and an email from their suppoort that says heir psychcis are not always accurate. Plus of course that they cover up fraud by editing the ratings. So wjichever way you look at it they are breaking the law and that over-rides any diclaimer. The company is stupid. They treat clients like expendable money sources. Has it not occured to them that some clients would see their very transparent illegal actions and do something about it.

JH - Your right about we clients wanting to know why a low rating is left, in order to make decisions about whether to hire. Stands to reason, BUT LP won't allow comments that point to fraud. This makes it easy for these fake psychics to come on here screaming "clients don't like to hear the truth so rate low" and comments like that. If you leave a comment (I know I have) stating reading was wrong and why, this would be informative. LP and the fake scammers don't want people to be informed, so comment is removed, fraudsters can blame the rating on the client "not hearing what they wanted to hear" and so the cycle continues. Its when you leave a low rating and a comment, you start being blocked by all and sundry on there, and therefore, the scammers can continue to scam with the help of liveperson who allows it. I have had ratings edited, removed and not go up at all actually, Live person always come back with the same old answer that its not in the companies interest for the rating to stay as I put it. No your dead right there, but it would be in the clients interest for it to stay as I put it, which proves that their term "customer services" is bullshit. I read the ratings on LP psychis regularly, and many I have had readings with in the past that have been totally totally wrong, but still the big gushing 5 star ratings keep on going up, thats why I know that the ratings system is not worth a dime. Never mind the fact that a lot of them are definately exposed as frauds via the report that is coming but still keep getting gushing clients rating how fantastic they are. Also, just look at how long clients stick with their "fantasic genuine gifted psychic" for. A couple of months before the penny drops that what. It is very very rare to see anyone stick around for a good length of time, and why would you stop reading with the psychic who is so fantastic and whose predictions keep coming true all the time for. If you are in to psychic readings and that was really the case the pschic would have a client for life - on LP that is not the case despite the great ratings.

They don't seems to bother about bad ratings that are left for the experts who do not male them much money. However, if clients leave a bad rating for the ones who are favoured, or who make money, LP will remove it. Yes, I can prove this also.

Position -i.e. on or near the front page is dependent on ratings. I have definte proof that LP support do not put up bad ratings or earings altering clients to fraud or that say negative things about the money makers. One of the files in the 'weakguyobkasamba' group proves it. I have other proof. According to the US Department of Justice, LP support are considered employees, even if they are on contracts or casual pay. If such an employee engages in such actions that are designed to increase profit and hide the true value of the product or service, then the US Supreme Court has, in a couple of cases that were sent to me, considered that not only are the employees guilty of corporate fraud, but so are the Executives. It is getting worse. It actually doesn't take much to initiate an official investigation and a class action.

JH - thank you for sharing that about the feedback system - it has been the experiences of other clients also. Their feedback being manipulated, edited or taken down. If they are not going to run the feedback system honestly (which allows a loophole now legally because they claim in writing that they do) they should eliminate it. Clients will continue to get scammed with no feedback, but they do now with the false feedback which is worse. Some clients are over the top with long feedback of praise for a reader yet that never gets edited or taken down as being too long. We clients are looking for WHY a client is rating the way they are especially for 3 or less stars - and your honest comments would have helped in the feedback but alas LP made sure that didnt happen. How can these readers claim to be spiritual advisors etc when they cant take things in perspective in their own lives that they will receive negative critiques at times? Bottom line this is a business and they need to keep up appearances of accuracy to feed the scam with the help of LP. False advertising all around. The whole system is skewed and there are so many neurotic readers on that site overly paranoid and concerned with ratings as they need to feed their family you know. Doesnt make for great advice.

Just FYI, I tried getting a rating changed a few times and I had confirmation emails/numbers from LP saying they'd get back to me. When they did finally, they sent me information that made no sense. And the edited rating I sent them was never posted. I've had a few of my feedbacks edited. One case was the above one (my original was too long), in another I left a very fair 3 star feedback for someone who got it wrong, and she had it edited so that the heart of why I was rating "low" was removed. About a month ago I saw a very bad feedback for a reader I used a few times months ago and really liked, and then a few days later it was gone. That made me question just who had what removed and kind of shook my feelings about this woman (and she's a genuine reader, just not really for me anymore).

You can always email Kasamba / Live Person and ask to have a rating changed. They can and will change it.

While I think that this Kasamba - Live Person post is generally well-written and highly intriguing, and I have also found some psychic fraud on Kasamba - Live Person, I'm not entirely sure what the specifics are that the writer is trying to describe. I'm not entirely sure what happened to the writer while working for Kasamba - Live Person, what the writer encountered while working there, what sort of fraud and greed the writer found there, etc. I'm not entirely sure why the writer can sleep better at night now that she's moved on and is in a better place. I wish the writer would describe more specifically what happened and what she witnessed while at Kasamba - Live Person.
