On May 31, 2015 I purchase a new vehicle as well as the GAP Insurance for protection in case of a total loss of the vehicle during an accident.  My car was involved in an accident on May 19, 2018 and was deemed a total loss by the insurance company GEICO.  At the time of the accident I owed on the car, but the my insurance paid the value of the vehicle at the time of the loss.  After my insurance pay-off I have a reminding balance of $10,352.00 due to the lend holder, so today I contact JM&A Group to inquire about their portion of the pay-off and I was informed that they approved the claim for a pay-out of $1225.73.  Thus, leaving with a balance of $9129.96...when about how they came to this amount she state because I had missed payments and late fees in the past. 

At the time of the accident my payments was current and on-time.  Not anywhere on their addendum states that your payment history during the loan term would factor into how much JM&A Group would pay in the event of a total loss of the vechicle.  This is not what I signed up for and I'm not going to take this laying down.  I'm going to report them to the BBB of Florida and I'm going to the dealership who sold me the car and the GAP Policy to express my concern.  If there is a class action lawsuit against this JM&A Group for this rip-off of a GAP Insurance Policy, please le me know as soon as so I can be apart of this take down.  Apparently this Jim Moran guy must be an unethical person in whatever business he endeavors into.
