Are the schools that the OP went to, since whoever the OP is, they can't spell worth a d**n! And the business about gramps being liable for accidents, as another pointed out, is idiotic, as long as he reports the car as stolen. And as far as the "eggcorn" (sic) falling from the tree, there was more than one tree involved here, and gramps and granny formed one of those trees.

I too hope they sue the pants of this outfit in District Court! LOL!
What a bogus report. If the situation is as stated, all the Grandfather has to do is file a report with the police for unauthorized use and the father is NO LONGER LIABLE for any accident the car is in as well as having law enforcement pick up the car and/or the granddaughter.
I suspect that the facts in this report are less than accurate. My guess is that granddad cosigned for a loan for the granddaughter and now the car loan is in default and the lender wants it repoed.

This is the 2nd report on these people you have filled out. You do realize what you are doing is Illegal. You are discussing personal business with these people in a open forum. I hope they sue your a*s!!!
