Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This company should be shut down until they change their Terms & Policy Section. They tell you in this section that you have a 3-day FREE trial after a initial $2.97 charge.  Well guess what, they charge your credit card $139.95 IMMEDIATELY after the initial $2.97 charge.

I found within a few minutes that this business was not for me. They did not provide any factual or concrete information for pages, and as you moved forward, they have you signing up for something else which requires yet ANOTHER CHARGE and requires very personal information (SS#'s etc.), again before you receive any pertinent information!  So, I CANCELLED immediately, at 12:33 p.m.

I pulled up my bank account on-line obviously concerned about a "scam" outcome, and found that there was a $139.95 charge sitting there in my account.  Granted, I did cancel immediately, and granted, they DID CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD ILLEGALLY.  Again, this $139.97 was not supposed to be charged UNLESS I did NOT CANCEL the program.  I hope your following me here, because unless you want a huge headache, I'd stay FAR, FAR AWAY from this company.

I have now been hung up on twice by their company employees in the past 2 days.  I'm trying to obtain information as to how they were able to "illegally" charge my card, and now trying to get this charge removed without having to go to my bank and file a "Dispute".

They tell me that this is a "Hold" charge and if I cancel within 3-days they will release the funds within 3-5 busines days.  Well, the charge should have NEVER happened in the first place.  And then to finally release this charge AFTER the 3-day TRIAL (even though I cancelled immediately) and to tell me that this charge will hang around for an ADDITIONAL 3-5 business days until it clears is ILLEGAL and is NOT STATED in their "Policy" section.

I will follow-up to this report either way, whether the charge is dismissed or not.  We need to remember here that they are NOT the "hero" for ultimately dismissing the charge - they are the VILLAIN who confiscates your money without warning, without discussion, without ASKING . . .

I actually got ahold of someone in "Billing", whether they're really billing or not is a mystery as they all use "fictitious" names like "Tina Hamilton" was a Pakastanian that I spoke with earlier.  At any rate, she actually raised her voice quite loudly and told me that I should have read their "POLICY" section.  I reassured her that I'm retired legal and that I read the "POLICY" section LOUD and CLEAR "BEFORE" I signed up, and they will see humongous repercussions soon . . . she then hung up on me.

I will be reporting them to the Attorney General today.  I will also follow-up with a report to the BBB.  This is a company that should be SHUT DOWN Immediately.  They absolutely need to change their Terms & Policies section to WARN the PUBLIC that their credit card WILL BE CHARGED IMMEDIATELY, and IF they Cancel within 3-days, at that time they will file a release to the credit card company which will take an additional 3-5 business days to complete.

This is still early yet for my personal situation, so I don't know if they will retract their charge or not.  Again, I will follow up within a week.

EDitor's Suggestions on how to get your money back!

HERE IS WHAT RIP-OFF REPORT SUGGESTS YOU DO:

Go to your bank within 60 days of the charge, or as soon as you know about the charge, don't delay, and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account. Explain that you wish to file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E.

According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: we could not do anything for you or you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days.

If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges.

Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off Report.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent!

DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!

Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get.

And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state.

Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth.

If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form.

CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD

If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.

Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report .. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.

And good luck Let us know how you do!

Customer has been cancelled and the $139.95 was not charged or drafted from the account.

The 3-day begins the day the client submits their order. Actually, the $139.95 is billed on the 4th day after the signup.

The $2.97 charge is drafted immediately upon signup. At the same time the $139.95 is temporarily authorized and in a Pending Status in their account, which holds those funds. The pending status remains until the funds are drafted or the hold is removed. If the customer does not cancel during the 3-day period the $139.5 charge is then drafted from the account based on the initial authorization on the account. If the customer cancels within the 3-day period, the authorization for the funds is lifted and the money is again available for them in their account.

What? My card is STILL showing the $139.95 charge

What are you talking about -- YES you did charge my account.  The $139.95 is still showing as a charge in my bank account.  It hasn't disappeared.  I'm on-line right now and it's 5:12 p.m. and your fraudulent charge is still showing on my credit card for 2 full days now.

Who do you think you people are to do this to the public?  You're holding MY FUNDS without my authorization.  Don't you understand, you NEVER had the authority to charge the $139.95 to my card in the first place.  I cancelled within 1 hour of signing up.  Your "Policy" section stated that I would be charged a $139.95 fee AFTER a 3-day trial period.  NEVER did it state that you would be charging my credit card IMMEDIATELY upon hitting the "Submit" button when acquiring information DURING the FREE 3-DAY TRIAL PERIOD!

We have terminated this customers account and no further charges will be conducted on their account.

Internet Cash Machine is a membership site that provides users with all the tools and information necessary to learn how to post websites and webstores and launch products for auction on eBay to make money online.

In order to sign up for the Internet Cash Machine program, the customer MUST go thru the following steps.

         1.       Client reaches Internet Cash Machine site through different internet advertisements.

        2.        Client is directed to a sales landing page to enter preliminary information. Note that there is a      link at the bottom of the page to the Terms and Conditions of the signing up for the program.

3. Then the customer MUST provide their credit card information on the secured payment page.??By placing my order I agree to the Terms of Offer, which explain this order includes the about for just $2.97 for processing. If you enjoy the 3-day trial and continue your path to making money, you will be billed a one-time fee of $139.95 and a monthly maintenance fee of $4.95. You may cancel anytime by calling 1-877-863-3088.

The 3 day trial is 3 days from the day the client signed up. Actually the $139.95 is billed on the 4th day after the signup.

The $2.97 charge is drafted immediately upon signup. At the same time the $139.95 is temporarily authorized on their account, which holds those funds for us. If they do not cancel during the 3 day trial period the $139.5 charge is then drafted from the account based on the initial authorization we placed on their account.

If they cancel within the 3 day trial period, the authorization for the funds is lifted and the money is again available for them in their account.

The $139.95 charge is initially placed on Pending Status in their account. That pending states remains until the funds are drafted the hold is lifted.

Again on the credit information page, the terms and conditions of the program are noted on the page in several different areas. First, there is a  link on the bottom of the page for the Terms and Conditions. Second,  the Terms and Conditions and charges for the program are listed on the page, directly to the left  of the Rush My Order button.  Those terms and conditions and charges for the service clearly state that there are 3 different charges for this program. The first is  the initial charge of $2.97 for processing of the account. The $2.97 charge provides the customer with access to the service for a 3 Day Trial Period.  The 3 day period provides the customer with access to the service so they can ascertain if they would like to continue with the service and incur the additional charges for the service. After the 3 day trial period has expired, as the terms clearly state, the customer is then charged the second charge, which is a one-time $139.95 charge for the service membership.  The customer then has access to the full service until they elect to cancel the service. Each month that the service is active the customer will be charged a monthly maintainance fee of $4.95.  The exact terms that are on the credit card information page are enlarged below for better viewing.

In addition to clearly spelling out each fee required for the service, we provide the number for the customer to call to cancel the account.

The link to the terms and conditions that is listed on each page involved in the signup process, take the user to the Terms and Conditions page, represented by the graphic below.  Again, ALL the program costs, charges, terms, conditions and cancellation procedure are clearly spelled out on the page.

Immediately after the credit card information page has been completed and the customer clicks on the "Rush My Order button, the terms are again presented to the customer in the form of a pop-up on the page that again lists the terms for the program and service.

It is at that point that the customer will see a Confirmation Page that confirms their signup is complete for the service and provides them with the username, password, and customer service contacts for their account.   Then a Welcome Email is sent to the email address the customer provided us upon signing up for the service.

After the customer has reviewed the Confirmation Page, and received the Welcome Email at their email address, all that is left for the customer to do is to login to their ICM account.  Below is the signin page to access the ICM customers accounts.

Once they are into their account, they must confirm their personal information to make sure that they are in the correct account and their account was set up correctly. From their the customer can set their own path to begin to create their website. Within the administration of their website they will periodlically be presented with additional tool and services for their business, such as a Merchant Account to accept credit cards for their products and services on their website.  These services arre entirely optional and the customer can bypass them with a simple click, if do not wish to obtain that certain service.

Based on the above representations and facts, there can be no question that ICM has taken every step to assure that all the terms and conditions are displayed multiple times throughout the sign up process and after the signup is complete.  For any customer to state that, they were not made aware or did not see or was not informed or did not authorize the charges about the pending charges for the service, would be a mistatement of the obvious facts.

We have terminated this customers account and no further charges will be conducted on their account.

Internet Cash Machine is committed to the success and satisfaction of all of its clients and conducts its business in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.  Please contact me directly if I may be of any further assistance. This customer can keep any materials that were received as our gift.

Respectfully yours,

Internet Cash Machine Staff
