Independent Wireless (Shantee Williams) ripoff! scam on monster.com! They took my money and disappeared. Internet
Monstor.com Job Scam. Applied for job through via email monstor.com job alert. An immediate reply came back after forwarding resume' stating I had been accepted.
Next step was to purchase headset for $95.00 and would get a $25.00 rebate if sent via electronic check. Employment papers nor headset have been sent or recieved. This has been over a month ago. Company has changed phone numbers. Since last checked it was 888-818-2077.
I have tried reaching Shantee Williams which I am only able to leave a voice mail or on hold for a lenghty period of time just to be sent yet to another voicemail. They DO NOT return calls!
This person or persons need to be delt with! How can I get my money back and help catch this fraudulent company/people? This is outrageous for those of us who are trying to land legimate empolyement.

888-253-4035 That would happen to be a household that has nothing to do with the comapny Chris in Austin needs to update info. Get Inde ripped me off for $125- and nobody seems to work there!

I too was worried that I would be ripped off, but finally after about a month i finally received my packet and headset, and am now working. i know it is frustrating but they arevery backed up, and you need to stay on them andask forDarlene Brown Which id the staffing manager new number is 888-253-4035

I to have sent in money to recieve by headset and is still waiting. I can understand the concern from everyone with the possibility that this Co. may be a scam. But do you know that this is a NEW company that is just starting out and needs the support of its employees to make the company a successful one. So far out of 100's of other applicants only 8 have complained about the process. I'd say Independent is not doing to bad! Either give them the time they need or find other job because we don't need people like you, who complains, to be our co-worker. We want people who will help the company not hurt it!
