I too was ripped-off by this company, Independent Wireless Services in Atlanta, GA. I too applied for a Customer Service position with this company through their website.
I received an email from this company stating; (After reviewing your outstanding background and experince, I would like to offer you a position in our Customer Support Services with Independent Wireless. This is our official offer letter.)
The letter went on to say, first, you will need a headset in order to work for our organization through your computer. The cost is $85.00 if you use an online check. Click on the link below:
I sent in the $85.00 and never received a headset. I sent several emails to Shantee Williams, Darlene Brown, I never received an email nor a phone call. I'll never get my money back.
To all of you out there, File A Complaint with The Better Business Bureau of Atlanta, GA. Call your local Consumer Affairs Office. These people should be shutdown, they are not legit.
This company has been doing business under the name of Small Business Recruiting as well.
