Independent Wireless Service ripoff stealing money and time from desperate people, big fat scam Atlanta Georgia
This company is a big fat scam. Please don't fall prey to them. I did and I feel stupid for it. I thought I had checked the company thoroughly. I came to ripoff and did not see them listed. I checked with the BBB in Ga and they did not have anything filed on them, so I felt that they were a legit company. I filled out the application sent in my fee for this magical headset that would allow me to link to their system and waited. It took a month to get the headset which is worth less than the headset that I already own. It is basically a headset with a mike attached. With the headset I received basic new hire paper work filled it out and faxed it back to them. Two weeks later I still hadn't heard anything so I called them at 1-888-253-0256 and got in touch with Kevin Chambers who was very sympathetic and told me that they were training a new trainer and that I would receive an email soon with my training date. Two days later I got that email. One week later I was supposed to begin training which was delayed till the next day. The day of training everyone was told to call into a telephone conference number. During the training the trainer was asked numerous questions that were pertinant to the work and had no answer. She (H.Patrice Freeman) basically just bypassed the important questions and gave the normal call center speech. She then said that everyone would begin the following monday. I never received an email for a start date. I called the 888 number and could not get anyone to answer. I have asked for a refund of the money that I spent but I am not going to hold my breath waiting for it. I have reported this company to ifccfbi.gov , the FTC and BBB in Atlanta Ga. I hope that these people are shut down and put in jail, they are vultures of the worst kind that prey on people that can not work outside of their homes and are desperate for work.
