Hi, I am part of a group of 10 investors in California who have collectively bought 25-30 houses from Steve & Mecca / Cash 4 Houses / Mobile AL with a total of more than half a million in fraudulent losses/damages as a result of repair work that the Browns never completed and tenant rents and deposits that the Browns never passed on to us. The Browns are being targeted by an investigative report for Mobile AL TV station WKRG - many victim tenants are providing information and many local contractors are telling the reporter about all of the work that they did for the Browns that they were never paid for. State Farm is investigating a home owned by the Browns that BURNED DOWN as possible ARSON. A Houston TX-based hard money lender has already foreclosed on 4-5 of the Browns' houses, BUT the Browns are doing whatever they can to stay current on their one prized Mobile property on Catherine Street. This is their historic rehab that they have been planning to live in (they currently commute everyday into Mobile from Mississippi). I think some contractors/investors have already placed liens on this property since the Browns have not paid them. I have heard that Steve Brown scammed homeowners in Jackson MS and moved to Mobile AL to start anew. Steve Brown is also surprisingly head of the Mobile RIG (Real Estate Investors Group) and has recently been confronted by group members because he collected their money for some cruise where he "trains" them - money has been commingled and also maybe siphoned off? Those of you who have been victimized or scammed - PLEASE FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE MOBILE FBI OFFICE: Agent Bryan Myers [email protected] (251) 438-3674 main ***tell operator you want to file a complaint with Agent Bryan Myers DON'T LET THE BROWNS CONTINUE TO VICTIMIZE PEOPLE.
