HH GREGG- Newnan, Georgia Warrenty and Replacement Does not exist- poor customer service Newnan Georgia
I purchased in October of 2015 over $12,000 of new appliances from HH GREGG in Newnan, GA. This purchase included as Samsung High Capacity Washer and Dryer ( Also Purchased new Refrigerator/ Dish Washer/ Oven and Microwave). After only having my new Washer for 7 months, the whole top inside plastic and paint has lifed from the metal parts and has peeled all the way up. This makes the lid hard to close and peices of paint and plastic fall into the clean clothes and also fall onto the floor when doing laundry.
We contacted HH GREGG who stated we have to call Samsung first for the first one year warrently, and they will come out and send a repair company to look at the damages. The first repair man came, JR Appliances, and stated the washer was unrepairable. They stated they wrote the report and uploaded into the Samsung Portal as per instructions from Samsung. After waiting 2 weeks with no response from Samsung, we called to see when they would replace. Samsung stated they did not have any reports from any repair company and they could not do anything but send out another repair company. The second repair company came out and said the same exact thing as the first. Once again- no repsonse from Samsung, and no replacement Washer. Same situation, they will not do anything.
I took the claim back to HH GREGG, who states they will NOT replace the unit either, and that they have instructions to only go to Samsung until the HH GREG Warrently comes into play. However, also stating the HH GREGG warrently would also not replace as this may just be cosmetic damage. Ronnie the store manger said he would try to make some calls and fix, however, it has been over 3 weeks with still nothing. It does not matter what the damage is , the product is defective and should be replaced.
The washer is still not working correclty due to the bad product, and basically I am out $1500.00 for a washer.
I would think after giving HH GREGG al my business, and spending the amount of money I spent, they would have given me a new Washer as good faith.
DO NOT BUY from HH GREGG- you will be very disappointed and most likely ripped off , I am writing this so that no one else will have to go through this mess of a process and poor Customer Service.
