Havoline Express Lube MISDIAGNOSES MARIETTA Georgia
I too would like to complain regarding service at Havoline Xpress lube. I went there about 2 weeks ago for a simple oil change and was diagnosed with needing a new radiator for a coolant leak, serpentine belt change and cooling symtem flush. I was told it would only taka an hour and a half to be completed. Upon return early the next morning to have work done I could clearly see on video screen the service person working on vehicle did not know what he was doing. After four brutalizing my vehicle to get radiator out, it took all morning to remove and all day to compelte work. When I next drove my vehicle, I could hear rattling noises from under hood, checked and found nuts and bolts missing on top where radaitor attaches to frame of vehicle. Then while continuing to drive sceeching noises started coming from belt then my vehicle started to over heat. I pulled into nearest shop which happened to be vehicle dealer shop. I promptly Called Havoline Manager and told him what was happening and he told me to have shop I was at presently to look at vehicle and if it was caused by something they did not do, they would pay for my repair. After I was updated on new diagnosis which was vehicle needed cooling system flush, new serpentine belt was broken and needed replacing and water pump was ceased up. I called the manager at Havoline and informed him of same. He at first said I could bring vehicle back for them to give a good cooling system flush without waiting for me to tell about new diagnosises. After l was able to explain new diagnosis he became loud, unprofessional, not listening and dismissive. Needless to say, after hundreds of dollars spent, having to endure witnessing fights between manager and staff, customers complaining about work that was claimed to be done at this Havoline and was not clearly not done, I would definitely not reccommend this Havoline location for any kind of work as the lack professionalism(especially manager), skills, honesty or integrity.
