So, being faced with a very sudden, unexpected move, we had to cancel our service with Frontier Communications. The move is to an area where they do not have any services, s there was nothing we could possibly do to continue the service.
They are going to send me a final bill that will include 409.99 in early termination and disconnection fees.
Again, this move was completely beyond our control and is happening in one week. This was the only way to deal with this.
I will be sending a certified letter, stating that I will not be paying their fees, and any attempt to collect will be reported to the Oregon Attorney Generals office to be pursued further and protect my credit rating.
After some research, I see that this is a huge problem nationwide. This company lies, baits, and then charges ridiculous fees. They need to be stopped.
