On October 29,2002, Freedom Resources with drew the amount of 221.95. At or about 2 months later I phone the company and stay on the line for 20 min,I was told its on the way and a month later nothing came once again, then 2 mths after that, I call them and tell them and don't bother to send the packet, She said she had to send it in order me to recieve the right paper to cancel and assured that it would be refunded with in the week of my phone call. It didn't come so I called them again and then again and was told by the operator that the phone number was disconnected. Because of how long they keep you oh hold which is 20 to 3o minutes at a time I had to wait and call again 2 weeks later and the phone was still disconnected and I never have recieved my refund.I have the records of the withdraw. But I was told it was a credit card.

This is a situation where you need to contact your General Attorney: Christine O. Gregoire: 360-753-6200, P.O. Box 40100, 1125 Washington St., SE, Olympia, WA, 98504-0100, or that web site listed: http://www.wa.gov/ago. I have not tried this information. I read a report about Freedom Resource on May 29, 2003. The person who submitted the report stated "that they may have departed from Woodstock, Goergia, and neither phones or fax numbers are working." In your statement, you mention 10-2002, halfway to a full year ago, so the information you have may be dated. If it is what the other person said is true. It doesn't matter, because the government has to deal with this now. This is why I would also like to suggest you file a report at: www.ftc.gov. This is a site for The Federal Trade Commission, and from there they will be able to give you more specific divisions of Government to contact, and they might be handling the case anyway. You really need to file this report or they will never have the real number count of all the victims nationwide, and they're not going to feel pressured by a small crowd. Besides, Freedom Resource is a big company. I would not be go it alone. If you would like to learn more from others, you can access categories: Credit Card Processing (ACH) Companies or Corrupt Companies. You can also enter keyword: Freedom Resources. I am not clear on whether they withdrew money from your checking account, debit or credit card, irregardless, I would change all types of account numbers, and Driver's License, just for peace of mind, if not further risk. Treat it as theft. Hope this helps.
