We hired Ryan Forsythe of Forsythe Global Consulting, now AllScient out of McLean, VA to work on Business Intelligence related projects for us.  Our experience with Ryan on these projects was not a pleasant one.  Despite the fact that he is the type of individual who possesses an always right type mentality, you know, that one IT consultant who typically annoys the business and IT leaders because he is always right and debates with you in trying to prove his point since he's a business consultant and so called Subject Matter Expert in Business Intelligence or until you just don't want to argue any longer, this gentlement truly operates as a sly, sneaky and snake so watch out!

For example, if work happens to fall out of the statement of work (SOW) for "project based work," Ryan will provide the services needed to finish the job but then demand money for his time (billable hours) despite following the process of a formal project change request form that needs to be in place in order to pay for any services outside of a scope of work that it is project based.  If not paid, look out!  Ryan will cause all types of s**t storms (his exact words that are documented) and threaten with sending cease and desists of use on any of his computer programming or consulting based work until the issue gets resolved (his exacts words that are also documented which was shared with me).  In fact, in a couple of our client projects where this happened, it resulted in us losing our customers.

Ryan is also the type of Business Consultant who nickels and dimes to pump up "consutlant billable hours" and so be aware as he will seek to collect money in any shape or form like a tax collector.  Should you happen to hire this Business Consultant and if things go sideways for whatever reason, be prepared for him to solicit any direct end customer projects that you may have introduced him to.  Also be prepared to deal with his legal threats to collect for any of those pumped up billable hours outside of scope in addition to filing lawsuits.  We suggest to have your T's crossed and I's thoroughly dotted in your agreements and if invoices happen to age 45-90 days past due, be prepared for him to enforce any interest should he have snake that into any agreement.  In closing, if you happen to come across this person or business, RUN!  He doesn’t operate ethically and lacks character.

Would you like us to upload the screen shot with your threat of cease-and-desist email to Apple regarding the application you worked on and the "sh*tstorm" you wanted to cause Apple Ryan?

The other side of the libelous story submitted by Qstride and Shane Gianino

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, September 10, 2018

This report was submitted by Shane Gianino of Qstride, not an Executive Business Leader from Redwood City, CA. Qstride is an IT 'body shop' with which I attempted to partner with to improve the quality and product of their consulting services. I have 20 years of consulting experience and would not have been able to survive if I acted in such a manner as Shane Gianino and Qstride project.

Shane Gianino and Qstride are upset and reacting in a manner that is libelous, and violates a Settlement Agreement of a lawsuit brought against Qstride. This all appears to be in addition to physical threats from Shane Gianino.

Normal business relationships are conducted with contracts and expectations in place. Enforcement of particular terms of a contract are a last resort, and I prefer to act as a business person. Yet, of Shane Gianino and Qstrides own admission, that their management of the projects, payment process, and understanding/adherence to contracts and business understanding were not up to industry standard. Continuous late payments (averaged 102.3 days past due date), scoping of the work, and holding customers hostage by terminating a contract that he no longer wanted to uphold while existing work was underway.

I do run a business, and therefore work to satisfy client requests and deliver quality work product. In exchange I do expect remuneration for that work. If there are concerns about the work I quickly address that work. If there are concerns about billing, then I am happy to provide substantiating documentation or proof of work. Per Shane Gianino and Qstrides "example", a client asked for the additional work, and approved the work and work product even though it went outside of their budget. I had two options, one was not to deliver, or two was to deliver and expect compensation for that work. The client admitted the work was requested and the hours were fitting for the work.

In the end, I do not know of a reasonable business that would continue to perform work in which they are not paid, and are not covered by a contract that would protect them against a company that wouldn't even adhere to the contract.

I will absolutely contest this libelous characterization of pumped up billable hours. Shane Gianino and Qstride have absolutely zero actual claim and evidence to this.

I prefer to conduct business as a professional, but multiple legal efforts were required against Qstride and Shane Gianino to have them adhere to contracts and agreements that they, in effect, petutlantly ignored, resulting in Shane Gianino characterizing the very basic function of an 'Executive' as needing to have your "T's crossed and I's thoroughly dotted".

We are happy to provide glowing references of mature and satisfied clients!!
