FORD MOTOR CO. Defective Fuel Tank on F-450 Truck Internet
Bought a new f-450 truck in March of 2004. Paid extra 6000 for the 6.0 Powerstroke engine. No complaints untill Dec. 2009. Truck lost all power and was sluggish. Took it into repair shop. Told me the lining in the fuel tank was flaking off. Needed to replace fuel tank, fuel pump, and all 8 injectors because of this contamination. Not a cheap fix,

I bought a 1990 Ford Var, it ran well until December of 2009, and it stopped running.
I called Ford, and told them they should give me a new engine, because my car only had 282,000 miles on it.
Hey Dude your car is almost 6 years old, Cars are machines, they wear out. Pay for the repairs, or trade it in.
BTW how many miles are on your Ford?
