Fleet Credit Card Service ripoff, raised my interest rate from 7.99% to 13.99% when I was always in good standing and paying more than the minimum payment Willmington Delaware
I started using Fleet Credit Card over 2 years ago after receiving an offer for a card with a fixed rate of 7.99%. Most of the time I made more than the minimum payment. Then, in June last year my rate was raised to 13.99%.
When I called Customer Service (if you can call it that) I was told by the representative that it was because they weren't making enough money off of me. He then sent me to some snooty broad who asked me what rates I had on the credit card from another company.
I told her 9.9% fixed and then she offered me 10.9%. I told her to forget it. Since then, I had half of what I owed Fleet transferred to my other credit card, and I have applied with two other companies, so I can transfer the rest of it over and cancel my Fleet card.
I is ridiculous that a company can get by with ripping people off, and nobocy can do anything about it. We need to all boycott Fleet, and make them go out of business.
