I was a FITNESS CONNECTION member for about three years when I decided to cancel my membership. As such I went through their established method for cancelling the membership, and even recieved from them a confirmation email that the membership had indeed been cancelled. That was last year, and yet, as it turns out, they have been charging my account for a membership ever since.
I approached them about the situation and their third party 'customer service' representative said, even after reviewing very acknowledgement they sent me, that I was out of luck. I then approached the Greenville FITNESS CENTER manager and he basically mocked me, telling me to go get a lawyer and 'good luck with that'.
