TOTALLY YOUR FAULT, and you blame someone else for your family's lack of a Christmas.
What a weird line of reasoning. Either accept that YOU ALONE caused this or keep experiencing the same thing in your future.
BTW, I noticed, yesterday, that Christmas still arrived, as usual. See if YOU can get YOUR act together next year and not "disappoint" your family again....deadbeat.

Your 9 month old will never remember nothing being under the tree. Given your credit history, be thankful this Christmas for even having a tree, and a roof over your head.
You could have wrapped up an older toy and the baby would never have known the difference, and still would have likely gotten a kick just ripping open the wrapping paper.
5 MONTHS LATE!!!!
There are folks here who get their car repossessed after missing their subprime car payments by ONE DAY!
You were given 5 months to catch up. They are right in forcing you to keep a minimum of funds locked up to cover each billing cycle.
Either learn to live within this restricted, disciplined budget or face these issues forever.

Per your comment when you said you had a 1st Premier Credit Card for years...and (5) months late with a payment? HOW did that happen? You were (5) months late with a payment and then made the payment in December....what did YOU think 1st Premier was going to do? Allow you to use the card when YOU wanted to? I'd hate to see the late fees on your Acct. for that. Premier has the right to hold your funds for (20) days because you caused the problem....not Premier. Regardless of you don't make a lot of money....NOBODY in America does either. It's not what you make...it's what you keep and spend wisely. Your Wife & (9) month old won't have a Christmas because....YOU were (5) months late on your payment...NOT Premier. What brings tears to my eyes is your financial ineptness at how you handle your financial affairs. DID you even call Premier to let them know WHY you were (5) months late? How'd they even keep your Acct. OPEN for (5) months when YOU were late???
Your daughter's 1st Christmas is tainted because YOU made a bad decision ... NOT Premier. You had financial responsibility to pay what you spent. You COULD HAVE contacted Premier to CANCEL the card so you didn't have interest charges and late fees but Christmas isn't about what's UNDER the Tree....Christmas is about HAVING each other as a FAMILY. I don't understand how Consumers (*like you) can be so irresponsible and THEN blame it on someone else. TAKE OWNERSHIP for the problem and FIX the problem and because YOU were late for (5) months....Premier must discipline you for your stupidity. Maybe next time you won't be so stupid not making your payments on time and Premier is running a business and they don't feel sorry for YOUR mistake and errors. Did you think about that?

They are a Sub-Prime Credit Card which means your credit was already trashed. You then were 5 that is FIVE months late with a payment and think that they still should trust you?
You seem to have this entitlement mentality where you think that you are "owed" something. Well you are not "owed" anything. This is money they are willing to lend you(at a very high interest rate), and they can decide whether or not they want to continue to lend you this money at any time.
Let's put this into terms you may understand. Say you let someone take 1 can of beer on the promise of them replacing it with a new can the next day. Now, they don't end up replacing it for 2 months. But once they do they immediately want to take another can for another day. Should you be forced to allow them to take it because you had let them take one in the past?
The fact is that they are not to blame for the lack of "Christmas" this year. I don't need to say who is to blame because if you really think about it I bet you know the true answer.

"I know they can give me this credit. They just don't want or care to."
Credit isn't something someone gives you. Credit is something you earn.
