First Premier Banc ripoff High Charges and Will not settle my account victimized many consumers Soiux Falls South Dakota
I received a credit card from this company last year with unbelievalbe charges of $178.00 charges with a 250.00 credit limit. This was even before I charged anything. I tried to make arrangements to have this closed and pay of the amount but no way from them.
I have sinced be charged 25.00 for overlimit and 25.00 late fee per month. In May 2002 I sent certified letter with a 200.00 payment settlement to them on 600.00 worth of late and overlimit charges. The letter specificly stated that if the 200.00 check was cashed that they accept my agreement. The letter also stated that the 200.00 check was to be sent back uncashed if they do not accept.
Needless to say they are sneaky, I kept looking for it to come in the bank statement and low and behold they just charged my bank for the 200.00 with the check number and never sent it to my bank. They are now stating that I still owe the balance by the credit card contract governing this account. I will now have to hire an attorney, I will not pay this company one more cent. I will pay a attorney before I pay them. I feel very mislead with the orginal internet credit card information.
