Fingerhut Corp. ripoff liars victimized us St. Cloud Minnesota
In the year 2000, I received a catalog from Fingerhut Corporation to my home address inviting me to place a new order. I did and never received the merchandise. The only thing I did receive from them was a bill indicating that I owe them for previous merchandise at an old address.
This bill was sent to a different name other than my own which was initially misspelled. Also, the items that were ordered under my name (spelled differently) went to a previous address. After my numerous complaints to Fingerhut about not placing this order or ever receiving it, they decided to investigate to see what happened.
In the meantime, they correctly spelled my name on the old order using my name with the new order they received from me and pinned the old bill on me. They did the investigation and have been harrassing me about paying for merchandise I DO NOT OWN. I clearly told them that I would not pay for this merchandise as I never authorized shipment or even placed this old order. Fingerhut sends catalogs out to every household and ANYONE can place an order. I have demanded that they leave me alone and not to report the false information on my credit report.
To this day, I don't know what happened as they stopped calling after my demands. They are using wrong ways in the business and pinning an old bill on me for merchandise I never ordered is COMPLETELY WRONG!
