Famous Poets Society promised that I won their contest for new talent all I had to do was send $$ to reserve a spot at a banquet to honor my work rip off scam con artists Talent Oregon
i had entered a poetry contest sponsored by famous poets society in april 2002. i soon received two letters explaining that i had won and i would be published in their book. also i need to send money to reserve a hotel accomodations at their honory banquet to honor me for my hard work during labor day weekend.
I had my hopes up, and thought that may be my work was admired by other poets. I guess it just feels betrayed that people can mess with minds of innocent victims such as my self to beleive that we have accomplished more than a fraud scam to make money. I am just pissed of that i even fell for this stupid scam.

I attended the convention during Labor Day Weekend. I did not send any money to Famous Poets to reserve a spot to be honored. Honestly, the convention was very nice. It was set up as a networking convention for poets from around the world. I am truly sorry that the person that filed the rip off report did not attend the convention. It would have been a nice experience for the up and coming poet. Famous Poets provided seminars for poets and an elegant banquet to honor them. They really went out of their way to show poets how much they appreciated them. I truly look forward to the next convention. Also, I hope the person that filed the report will attend the convention next year if chosen, before making a judgement. The assessment I made is based on my actual attendance, not assumption. Thank you.
