Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I fell victim of the "CNN" news article about Amanda Hughman and her losing weight using Extreme Fit 180. The link to the Extreme 180 free trial was at the end of the article. It takes you to a website that asks you questions to see if you qualify. If you qualify you just have to pay shipping. What they don't tell you is that you signed up for a 14 day trial. Once the 14 days are up if you did not cancel you would be billed the full price for products monthly. I ordered on the 10th of January and called immediately the next day to cancel after reading another article exposing the scam. The person on the phone wanted to extend the trial so I would have time to see if the product worked. I declined and told her to remove my card information and take me out of their system. She then proceeded to offer a discount of 50% which I also declined.

Finally she said I would have to pay the $29.95 for the trial bottles I ordered. Mind you they had not been delivered since I ordered them on the 10th and it was now the 11th. I told her I would not be paying for them and would gladly sent the bottles back once they arrived. The woman responded saying I would be responsible for shipping cost and I said it was not a problem. Once again I asked for the address and she refused to give me one. I was placed on hold for a brief moment and when she came back on the phone I was told my membership was cancelled and I wouldn't have to return the trial bottle. I immediately froze my bank card, called my bank, and called Extreme Fit back to speak to another agent. She confirmed my membership was cancelled and I would not be charged. Make sure you get the agent ID number and your cancellation number just incase you dont get the confirmation email.I am writing this to warn others in hope that they will not fall victim. If I had not read up on Extreme Fit 180 after ordering my card would have been charged. It is now the 17th and I just received the trial bottles. To be clear I was charged only the shipping for the trial bottles. I have yet to decide if I will try them or give them away.
