Well Ebay's at it again yesterday I had $894.58 taken from my bank account. Ebay tried to tell me on the phone that it wasn't them that it was PayPal (pass the buck)I wrote Ebay a letter on 04/20/4005 asking them to remove us from the direct pay service. I also cancelled my seller fees from PayPal.

mxxx: Yesterday $894.58 was taken from my bank account from Ebay INC. I did not authroize this transaction. I have already sent letters to Ebay numerous times to take me off the direct pay service. My Bank told me also that this was done illegally. I did not give Ebay my debit card information only my checking.

Eric A.: I'm sorry to hear this and I'll be happy to look into this for you.

Eric A.: May I have your user ID please?

mxxx: I am sending my sellers fees in the form of money order To Ebay

Eric A.: May I have your Name, FULL Address, and Phone number registered with your account for personal verification?

Eric A.: Perfect.

Eric A.: I have reviewed your account and automatic payment through your paypal account was reversed due to the account being closed.

mxxxx: So this did not authroize Ebay to take money form account as I have copies of letters sent to Ebay on 4-20-2005 telling you to be removed from directpay service

mxxxx: my paypal account is not close I cancelled the paypal seller fees service

mxxxx: I have also submitted copies of this to my bank as well.

Eric A.: I do understand your concerns, and may I ask when was the payment taken from your account?

mxxxx: Yesterday on 06/06/2005

Eric A.: Ok. Now I do not see any payments on your account through your checking account. I would like you to email our billing analysts to review that payment for you. I have seen that we have removed all financial information on your account, and should not have been charged.

But yet they can find no record of my account being charged? Hilarious. When is this nonsense going to stop. Ebayers Beware!
