Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
D.S. Max bills itself as being a company that is more legitimate than any other because you don't have to buy your way in. What you do have to do,{especially if you're female,} is kiss butt your way in or be taken advantage of sexually. All you have to do to see this truth is pick up an issue of their newsletter and see how few females compared to males there are in top positions in the promotions department.

I see where it can be compared to a cult but how I find it is more like a popularity contest and if, like me, the boss makes you Very popular until 3 days before his wife comes to town and then makes sure you're not still there to make way for her, it can be extremely devastating but, it gets even worse! The day before this happened, one of my so~called fellow employees who we were continuously told would supposedly only act towards us in a helpful way, took a sharp instrument and completely destroyed the soft roof of my convertible, costing me $1200.00 to replace. I know it was a conspiracy to get me to quit because until then, the only way I saw anyone leave the, "business" was for them to burn out and leave on their own which usually doesn't take very long.

From day 1, I was an excellant employee. I actually understood the concept and was anxious to work my way up. It's a "job" where you make part time money on full time PLUS hours. I not only put in the required 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, I came in early, left late and came in on Sundays to help with inventory. I learned the fundamentals immediately and began applying them. If you don't see the big picture and realize that you're not going to make much money for quite awhile, you'll burn out extremely quickly. I was willing to settle for not making very much money for a long while because I figured it would pay off in the long run. The thing is, they seem to go out of there way to make sure you aren't able to stick it out for the looooong haul.

For now I guess I'll just leave it at that because I'm anxious to read what others have said about this, "company," and add my agreements. I have since found a very reputable company and would love to share the details if anyone is interested. They say not to include my email address but, I hope that anyone who would like to respond to this has access to it.

I couldn't agree with you more. I am happy to hear that you only had to experience one "office". I am from Las Vegas and about two years ago I started with American Eagle in Las Vegas. Worst mistake of my life! The only reason I stayed more than a week with this shady company is because I made $375 my first day (or so I thought since little did I know they keep 25% if not more). But anyways, I stuck it out and was anxious to go on a "road trip" because I was under the impression that it would be an actual business trip. I didn't know this wasn't an actual business and that I would end up driving MY car and paying for gas, food, hotel, etc. with MY money. Not only did we pay for it but we had to share a room with 4 other guys. Only two beds. Horrible experience, but I belived. Stupid me. So we are 15 hours away in Lubbock, TX and I get an offer to move to Indianapolis where "They were making $1000 a week" (yeah right) they were really making $50-100 a week. But I belived and I packed up everything I owned and moved all the way across the country to Indianapolis. What did I have to lose right? To make a long story short, they ended up moving half the office to Federal Way and I knew I had to get out so I quit and now have an excellent, NORMAL, job that gives it's employees a real salary + comission, paid holidays and vacations, benefits, paid business trips, and best of all RESPECT. We are not taught to lie, cheat, and steal our way to the top. I may have had my car reposessed, lost my hometime friends, moved to a place I really don't like, went severely into debt, and had my credit drug through the mud, but the job I have now is well worth it.
