I am not happy that I have to expose someone like this, but when someone tries to insult my intelligence and attempt to overcharge me, I get very angry. I received a call from what seemed like a nice lady who offered to send me a set of drill bits that were supposed to be the ultimate drill bit set that would last forever. They were so amazing that I would never have to buy another drill bit for life. She stated that they would send them to me and if I didn't like them I could simply return them for no charge. Feeling like I was not doing something wise, I went ahead and agreed to receive the drill bits. When I received the package I did not have time to open it and inspect the drill bits.

She called me several times over a 3 week period and I told her I was trying to get around to looking at the drill bits. Finally I decided to open the package. I found a cheap plastic container with the drill bits inside. The price they quoted me was around $250. Suspicious of the unusually high price, I decided to do some checking. Sure enough, these are common drill bit sets and I can buy the same exact thing for $75 from numerous internet sources. By this time I began to receive letters implying that they would hurt my credit if I didn't "bring my past due balance up to date.

I sent an email and a letter to Ace Industrial Supply that I wanted to return them with no reply. I did receive a couple phone calls, but they would not even listen to me. I told them I just wanted to return the package, but they refused to pay for the shipping saying my account was too far past due. So the only way that I know of to protect my credit is to send the stupid overpriced drill bits back to them certified at my own expense. I will lose money now for being so stupid to answer the phone to telemarketers. I tell you what. If anyone at Ace is reading this.....dont you dare mess with my credit over this or I will come back at you with all the legal fury that I can unleash on your company for unlawfully damaging my credit.

I am sorry to hear about the inconvenience with your order and the process. A few things that might clarify the order and customer service process for you. Our drill bits that we send are not as you will find online for a cheaper price. The Drill bits that Ace sells are manufactured by Ace at the highest quality. We also will guarantee and waranty each bit unconditionally. If you experience any problem with any of all of the bits we will replace them, no charge, no questions asked.

Before an order can be shipped to a customer there is a multi-step process of verification before it can actually be shipped. Once and order is made between a customer and a member of the sales staff, the order will again be verified by phone with a member of our verification staff to ensure the customer is confirming the accuracy of the merchandise, the cost, terms of payment, correct ship-to and bill-to address and additional contact information. If all of these items are not verified, we will not ship an order and there are no exceptions to this.

With an order having been verified, Ace will cover all shipping costs for order delivery and is the customer’s responsibility to cover return should they simply not want it. If order was incorrect (different product than verified) or defective Ace will gladly return at it's expense.
