They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: Christina Their phone number: 800-555-2678 Their relationship to the company: Owner Rebuttal: I received my package and actually liked the look of some of the items in the catalogs. However, when I went to order, I was never able to get ahold of anyone. Took minutes of holding before I'd finally give up and try again the next day. I finally decided that since they were too difficult to get in contact with I just wanted to cancel the card. Again I had to hold for a long period of time. I tried another 800 number and spoke with a supervisor, she said she couldn't and wouldn't help me because they only activate cards. Then she said, "Let me see what I can do. Can you hold?" Instead of placing me on hold, the alleged supervisor disconnected the line. I called again and had to hold for 20 minutes before speaking with someone. Finally, I talked with Regina who said I couldn't cancel my card over the phone. I had to send in a letter in writing. I got their fax number and faxed it. I asked for her employee number and for her to send me a letter of confirmation that she had received my cancellation request and the cancellation was processed. I can't believe I fell for this company. $300.00 down the drain, but in their pocket! What a way to spend a Christmas!
