I attended an interview for a sales position with this company and exactly as others have described the process I was offered the position. I was invited to a second meeting where i would hand over my identification records and pay the sume of $150.00 for background checks etc.

I was really very pleased as i need to secure some income and it all sounded very plausible.

On instinct i ran a check on the Company and read the reports on RIP-OFF which have prevented me from making a big mistake.

It seems Cornerstone is now active in Florida - so Floridans beware.

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

The demise of a career, and the start of your career's demise. I've read the reports, and I have seen the feedback and rebuttle's. As a former "agent", which is really to be said a "contractor" because this org. doesn't really have any REAL AGENTS, I can tell you that most, if not all that you read on the complaint side is TRUE! After reading page upon page of this website, I can honestly say that I have personally witnessed every bit of it, and then some. I was even encouraged to be a part of it. That is "recruiting" the perverbial"unsuspecting" lot. So much is being said about the employment aspect of this. And so much is being said about the financial aspect of those envolved. I'm going to approach the most important victim here, THE CONSUMER. I said it the consumer. You can whine about how you got duped. You can whine on how you got taken. But these guys are cheating hard working, Christian American families (yet al Americans Christian or not)of their earned income every day, by selling them sub par junk. I even had a a RSL once ask me something when I was released from the hospital from an unrelated injury one year while I was with Cornerstone. She asked "Do you have good medical coverage". I responded "yes". She responded "good, I was afraid you might have the garbage that we sell" This is no lie, word for word. I'm a Lutheran, were not aloud to lie. Please, if you do anything in life, help spread the word to all of your families and friends and neighbors, do not purchase ANYTHING from Mid-West, Mega, or the Alliance for Affordable Services. Or any other product these Cornerstone, Health Market, UICI or whatever they may (call themselves tomorrow) rep's. One more thing, it's funny how they keep changing their name. Has Blue Cross Blue Shield changed their name. Has Met Life changed it's name lately, has Prudential changed it's name lately, how about Allstate? When a company keeps trying to hide it's past by showing itself as some one else every couple of years, that's your first clue. And P.S. If I've misspelled anything here, it's not because I'm wrong or stupid, but because I'm not the best typist. I noticed one guy lashing out over someones spellin. If that's your only rebuttle, then thats our second clue. S. Arlington, Texas
