CIC Consumerinfo.com ripoff charged me for something they claimed was free Nationwide Worldwide
What a rip-off scam .....
I wanted to find out what my credit score was so i could get a loan to buy a motorcycle.
Then I found consumerinfo.com. They Claimed i could get a free credit rating with no strings attatched. I got my credit report and it definately did not come cheap.
I looked at my charge card account and found that they charged my account a 79.95 amount. My credit card limit is not very high and it sent it soaring over its limit. So instead of costing me 80.00 it cost me 120.00.
This is wrong because when you order your report it does not say anything about the charge, nor does it ask for an authorization to process the fee. If it did, I would have passed on the offer.
