Me too. I'm a former Alzheimer's caregiver to my mom for the last decade and i needed a computer to get back in the world of work somehow and could ill afford to get ripped off. They advertised heavily on TV and so i took one of my rare trips outside home to check it out, the ticket just to get in was 7.50.
They use every dirty trick in the book from bait and switch, false advertising, and direct lies from the salesmen and jimmying up receipts, you name it they do it. Paid 900 bucks for a computer I was told was new with factory warranty
They pulled the old switcheroo on the receipt. I DID NOT EVEN KNOW IT WAS A "REFURBISHED" UNTIL I CALLED THE FACTORY TO TRY TO REGISTER THE WARRANTY. Albuquerque convention center was no help either, all they had on the guys was a cell phone that nobody answered usually and the only return phone call I got was from somebody that barely spoke English but was definitely very skilled at being rude and threatening and said I would "get no support" and hung up
Anyway, the computer is supposedly less than a month old and it was delivered to me in a taped up box and I was sent on my way and refused a refund on the spot and called a sucker. The screen flickers and goes to white out when i try to use it. It did not have the equipment or the software that I was told would come with it and they don't return any calls usually unless it's to give you the brush off...even though they told the BBB they do. This was money I wish I had used for food. These people are horrible monsters and should be stopped by somebody. BBB does nothing. These creeps need to be taken to jail and run out of business forever NOW! That's all i have to say. I am crushed and ruined, that was a lot of money to me. Shame on the convention center for renting space out to thieves too
