CIC Consumerinfo consumer fraud ripoff Orange CALIFORNIA Internet
It looks like I am yet another in the long (and getting longer) line of Consumerinfo.com victims. I distinctly remember spotting the "negative click" trick (click here if you do NOT want to be charged) and I chose not to be charged. They did anyway.
A refund was promised, and we shall see what pans out there
I found it absolutely hilarious that while waiting to speak to a customer "service" rep, they had this whole spiel about credit fraud and identity theft, and how their service helps to prevent that from happening...takes one to know one, I guess.
Avoid this company.
