on saturday 5/28/2010 used orbits to get two day reservation with a hotel.

it was about 9am that day and looked at hotels and pictures and chose one placing it on my credit card.

at around 2pm had a family emergency so called hotel to cancel reservations. after talking to hotel they told me to call orbits.

called orbits and first time i called was hung up on. the second time i called they said the hotel said i had to give a 24 hour notice to get refund.

I explained that had family emergency and had made reservations 3 hours ago.

orbits then said they would call hotel again. this time orbits said that manager was not working that day so i had to call back on monday.

called orbits on monday and they placed me on hold and said they called again and hotel said they had to talk to their corp. headquarters to refund but one refund one day.

called the next day got same answer and orbits said they would work on refund and for me to call them back.

i gave orbits two weeks and got a bank statement showing orbits had charged me not the hotel.

called orbits again and demanded my money because i went by the hotel to find the pictures on orbits were not of the hotel.

i also called the police in the city to find two people had been robbed at the hotel in the last year.

also looking at the hotel their were only about 3 cars their with approximately 60 rooms and the pavement was ripped up around the hotel.

called orbits and they went through the same , let me call hotel, and i demanded to talk to a supervisor.

finally spoke to arnold, would not give last name but said his code was meg and he said he did not care what i did but they were not going to refund any money to me.

let him know i was filing a complaint with my bank and would do this and spread the word.

he said he did not care.

let us see; your supervisor arnold (meg) said he did not care what i did orbits/cheaptickets would not give me my money back.

so if you need information talk to the supervisor or any of the many people that i talked to that lied to me there and get it.

you stole my money and i am not going to work for you.

my bank, internet services, or lawyers can talk to you.
