Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I orderded Carleton Sheet's No Money Down Payment Course for a 30 day trial for $9.95. But they stole $334.86 from my account checking and I have not even recieved the course for my "30 day trial period".

Not only that but when I oredered the course the Rep. and a letter I recieved stated me that I would be billed 4 payments $69.99 for the course after the "$9.95 30 day trial period".

They lied to me and stole money from my checking account.

I am very upset.

I just want to say two things. How dare you call these people liars. Were you there? Did you live with any of these people and see their credit card statements? Did you listen in on all of their conversations with the operators? I don't really think so. The other thing I want to say is..... If you don't think Carleton Sheets is a ripoff, then what even made you think to look for him on this website, entitled "Rip Off Report"? Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Kinda makes us wonder!!

Tori's comment Re: the previous post by Tori, a former phone closer for Carlton Sheets' "No Money Down" program... Tori, may I suggest you take an elementary class in English grammar? Your posting indicates you are a person that cannot intelligently discuss the subject. Perhaps that is the reason that there are so many negative experiences reported to Bad Business Bureau regarding the Sheets' course. The phone closers on the phone simply do not have the intelligence or qualifications to handle the job.

a pitiful shame that people on here are so ignorant enough to feel that Carlton Sheets is a theft

I really feel it is a pitiful shame that people on here are so ignorant enough to feel that Carlton Sheets is a theft. All he actually did was put his secrets down in a program for others to read and try to achieve financial independence. I worked at the main office for 2years,I have heard all the stories and lies from customers who have bought the course and didn't hear the 9.95 fee for 30 days in the presentation, usually they think that the 9.95 fee is for all the materials in the box. But alot of you that have these issues either didn't listen or basically said yes to everything not listening to the full presentation on the phone. There is a script that we must adhere to it is called quality assurance and unfortunately, that former employee from Colorado is a liar, the freakin script states what should have came outta your mouth, yes we took checks but they where always told upfront that it was the full amount not 9.95, the only way the 9.95 was done was thru a credit card due to the installments that the payment is suppose to be on. Alot of you liars on here stated that Carlton Sheets took the full payment upfront on the day of the order that is pure b.s. The program is only sent out for 9.95 has been that way for 4 years now. After the 30days trial put they give you a few additional days in case u shipped it back on the 30th day they would debit you for the purchase price the only way that the payment was taken upfront is by request for the additional tape that is given.Other wise it is 3 py or 4py, every 30 days. I due know that there where problems, and that was due to employees that where being thefts and trying to increase their sales. Not by anything management or Carlton Sheets wanted or required anyone to do. That isn't professional that is not how to run a 30 year business either. The company didn't stand for employee theft nor from customers, due to the company lost in the end. I worked collections and sales at the main office and due to alot of consumer fraud, lies and plain theft of Carlton's products. If a customer complains we will look into it that was the policy and we didn't steal or authorize charges but the intial 9.95 fee for the first 30 days. Due to most of you lying trifling people on here that are claiming otherwise your full of it. Carlton Sheets is the man behind the product and people I have had the pleasure of meeting him twice, but his product is being distributed by a company. It could have been human error or just plain deceit on a employees part, but to be honest it would not happen if consumers are more careful about given there financial information to someone and not ask any questions or listening to the advertisement, that was my reasoning for visiting this site.Bottom line, pay attention to what your purchasing whether it be online or by phone. Another thing you liar in Denver, I left that company a few months ago, but returns where processed in 48 hours, refunds did take some time due to either it be a credit/debit card and if ever a customer had a problem w a refund and need the funds we would help. You worked there 2 weeks, and was on the phone already bs. You must have been apart of the (outsource group)stay at home crew that took calls that 80% of our customer service problems came from. And in all the time period I was there no receipts where put in the box ,stupid it wasn't paid for yet. Refunds wasn't a problem either customers that had problems, all we needed was a supervisors approval only. There was only a packing list that decribed the free items and that programs items. I due agree with the gentlemen above who stated that the infomercial need to be more exact that is true and I feel the packing list needed to have prices also. But that never happened .. KEEP IT REAL

I worked for Carleton Sheets for about 2 weeks. I left very quickly after my training because I could not stomach what I was doing. I was litterally told to lie to customers to get there money. I will give some examples; "I am confirming your order for (insert product here) and I am going to go ahead and send you out product (insert promo product here) okay?" *We did not tell them that the extra product we were sending would cost another $100-$300 more. They were made to think by our lingo (that was scripted for us) that the product was a free extra.* We were also not told to tell customers who used a checking account that it would often be billed all at once rather than in 3 payments. Can you imagine having to tell a senior citizen who could no longer pay their rent or mortgage that we would not refund their money? Carleton Sheets would often would send things without receipts or the receipts were intentionally put in hard to find places so customers did not realize the price and thought it was a free gift. And also it took them about 10 days to inventory returns so rarely anyone would receive a refund or keep from being charged in time. In a nutshell this was the most vile company I have ever worked for. I would rather live in a roach infested hole than make millions working for them.

I too have purchased the $9.99 trial. It didn't suit me. I will be returning it. I called to let them know and the rep gave me another month to consider the course which I felt was very generous of her and the company. I'm so very limited on financial resources. I don't have my own phone to use, a car, fax machine or even a printer. The rep said I can do 100% of it from my computer through emails, ect. I find that hard to believe. Either way I'll be returning it do to not seeing myself walking through the s****.. They say it's as easy as 1 2 3. It's more like 100 200 300 and some after all the things you have to consider and remember just to not get in a bad deal let alone make money. Also a lot of the DVD's are of these students of Carlton Sheets just talk about their experiences as seasoned pros, not as beginners like everyone watching the DVD. Plus most if not all of them were in a position to be able to buy a house with money from a friend or have a co-signer or just help, period. I'm on Social Security making barely over $500/month at 31 years old. No, not everyone can do it and no it's not that easy. Oh, plus at the end of one of the DVD's there's an add for three more courses that you would obviously would want to know how to do to be effective on every aspect. The course you get isn't exactly "complete", unless you spend another 80 some dollars per course extra. I would like to see their infomercial be more realistic to the average joe with realistic experiences not fantasy tales or good luck deals. I just thought I would leave a few comments about the course and my experience.

Did the operator say anything about charging you the full amount? If not you should dispute the charges return the package and report it here if they don't refund your money. Next time you order something from an infomercial RECORD IT they do so you have the 800# and the operator's ID number. What happened was they probably billed you on the 15'th of the month which still is misleading advertising saying "30 DAY TRIAL" Why they can't say $10.00 vs $9.99 is beyond me are we that dumb thinking that it's $10.00 or whatever? Rounding it off makes it easier to do the math also. Rob

I had also ordered Carleton Sheets program and unable to use at time returned unopened .Called and requested a refund. Was told they would credit my account .But they continued to take out $81.49 this is the secound withdrawl with out my premission from my bank .I called again and they claimed no-one from there office credited my account. Now they have there product back and continue to bill me for something I no-longer have and have returned by certified mail. This time they say they will credit my account as of 1/7/04 .If not I will be taking legal action against this company. I've already reported to Attorney Generals Office. They said they will be investigating.

If Carlton Sheets is SO Honest - Why do you have to mislead people?

#9Consumer Suggestion

I laughed so hard the nails fell out of my hands. If Carlton Sheets is SO honest - then WHY does he mislead people on his Infomercial? Huh? The fast talking and flim-flam from this man is getting worse and worse. Hell - he makes Russ Whitney and Don LaPree look like Ralph Nader! I have PERSONAL experience with Sheets - I called Sheets (yes we get cable up here in Heaven) and got nothing but the run-around and slippery 'non-answers' to my pointed questions. They DO have a good script and I know for a FACT the FTC doesnt "Approve" or "Disapprove" any busniess tactics used by companies. The FTC only acts when there are a 'pattern of complaints' and THEN - ONLY then do they review documents and sales tactics - PLUS - Your closers (Soory, Operators) are paid on a commission so it is in their best interests to lie, cheat and deny when it comes to getting the CC # - They learned from the best. If Carlton is SO honest - then he should NOT have to resort to deception to sell his products!

Obviously Robert your a shill for Carlton Sheets. I too was almost duped into buying this course but thanks to the rip off reports (all 26 of them) I saved my self the nightmare that keeps reoccuring with this company. What are you telling us? That all these people have lied? I agree that the course is well worth the money. (I got it from ebay for $20) Its not the quality of the product its Sheets business practices that suck. They should refund the money without all the bull. I for one would like to see Carlton Sheets himself rebutt these accusations. I wonder why he hasnt? Maybe because he can't?

This is quite unfortunate to blame the company...

I am very disheartened to read sir, that you felt PEI/ Carleton Sheets robbed your account. In fact it is quite UNTRUTHFUL for you to say the company stole from you.... As this situation has been told, you would never know that the customer actually has a 30 day trial period that begins when the package arrives, not at the order. #2 the calls are scripted and are FTC adhered that must be approved by the customer prior to shipment. #3... Yes the payments are set up for 4 payments, yet it appears you would have had a course that entails 12 CD's and 5 DVD's, and I say 5 DVD's becuase you would have one additional DVD and that states you elected the one payment plan. You want people to say we stole something from you, when really you stole from yourself...How could you order a product and not review it, see if it works, you did order it did you? The first payment doesn't come out until 10 days after your thirty day trial ( so you could return it...) and you still had five additional days after the payment. how come you did not call for return? Maybe becuase you did not open the course... More and more each day people call in, wishing for someone to do just that---- open a box and money will come running out of it, Nevertheless, the streets are paved with gold, it meaning that in the relative sense, it is. Don't tell people someone stole money from you when it is a computer that reads the dates and it will surely pull it out if you are past your trial date. 10 days is not enough for you? How about the 30 days that the package was there for $9.95? I truely wish you would have made more of an impact with the course, bought some properties as I have( and still holding my 40 hour job speaking to people like you who want to something better in life, they just want someone to do it for them, and make them rich overnight. THAT'S WRONG! Nobody get rich overnight; it very valuable that $334.86, especially when you did nothing with what was charge to do in the first place. The course WILL save you thousands, just read, recite and apply and it will get you on the way. Oh... that breakdown of the cost of the College accredited course is as follows: 299.96 for CD's & DVD's 24.95 S&H 9.95 30 day trial offer If 4 payments 81.22 or for One payment 324.91 , added the 9.95 there is 334.86 Instead of preaching venom, get up and get positive --- USE THE COURSE! My anniversary comes up on December 2 --- in my first year, I have purchased three properties, well the ink isn't quite dry on the third yet , so, with my credit --- I am thankful for having the WILL TO OPEN THE BOX, so that I can have options and doors opening for me in the near future. Good luck in Investing... stop complaining...

Go to your bank tomorrow and fill out an ACH Debit Fraud Complaint form. Let the bank know that Sheets did not have your authorization to remove the funds from your account. Demand the money be replaced in full immediatelyusually takes 30 to 60 days Then call Sheets and let them know youve filed the Debit complaint and that youve posted a complaint on the Rip-off report. Also let them know you intend to report them to the Attorney Generals office and then do it. Do not let them convince you that you must submit your cancellation in writing. Let them know that the call is notice and that you have the bank complaint form and your phone records as proof of cancellation for court. Good Luck!
