Capitol Machine Misty Mays I bought 2 insulation vacuum machines, one arrived and was not what they told me I'd get, it was junk and brokedown. The other machine never arrived, they promised a refund and 5 months later never made good on it. Sylacauga Alabama
Total fraud, misrepresentation and breach of contract. Misty Mays, the owner of Capitol Machine, sold me their top-of-the-line insulation vacuum and repatedly assured me that it was made with a 1/4-inch nearly indestructible impeller fan and that I would be getting the same vacuum shown on their website. The vacuum arrived weeks late and it was not the same as shown on their website: the handle was flimsy and fell apart but we used it for a couple months and it seemed to work well. We orderd a 2nd vac and they promised we'd get a heavy-duty handle as they show on their website.
The 2nd machine never arrived. During this time the 1st machine brokedown and when we opened it, we discovered the fan impeller was not made of 1/4-inch steel but instead 3/16th and it had a cut/fold/bend that narrowed it down to less then 1/16th where it fell apart. We canceled our order for the 2nd machine as soon as we saw this. The second machine was returned by the shipping company to their plant and it's been 5 months with repeated promises for a refund and nothing has arrived.
The owner will not take calls, reply to emails, respond to text messages or make good on conducting business properly. I have a broken machine and nothing in the way of refund on the second machine. I've now met other people who have also been burned by this company. The BBB has revoked their accreditation and we've filed a report with the Alabama State District attorney. We're also in the process of filing a lawsuit against them.
HORRIBLE compnay, total fraud, misrepresentation and breach of contract.
