Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Buzz Telecom and Web Design was recently found innocent of all frivoulous and bogus legal claims filed against the company by Ryan Mack. Ryan was a former disgruntled employee of Buzz. In the summer of 2006 Ryan decided that he no longer wished to follow corporate management decisions and instead simply wanted to create his own company within the company. Ryan was apparently confused as to his status as an "employee".

Ryan then organized a "non-union" strike over simple issues like scheduled break times and getting larger pc monitors and desks. Ryan was a web designer and low level supervisor for a short time at the company. The owners have been in business together since 1987 and normally operate with well over 100 staff.

The funny part about this situation was that the company had just invested a large amount of cashflow in the design area beefing up the assetts and computers needed to deliver our products.

Ryan and the other co-workers were terminated for walking out on the job and were also allowed to re-apply for their positions on a one-by-one basis. Some chose to re-apply and some did not.

After further research into Ryan's employment, it was discovered that he should not have been hired or promoted as he did not have a solid resume or strong history of stability with other companies. His previous employment was working at a movie theatre.

Also, it was found that Ryan had stolen company property - police reports were filed and charges will be made as necessary.

If you or any others you know have any further concerns, doubts or questions as to the practices and work environment at Buzz Telecom and Web Design - feel free to contact us at www.buzzazz.com or [email protected] Sincerely - Department of Corporate Affairs

How many names has your crooked company had? Why did you have to shut down office after office? How many times has your many aliased company been sued or been threatened with legal action because of your business practices? Weren't you just sued for millions of dollars for scamming the elderly and other unsuspecting people who happen to pick up the phone when one of your long distance resellers fatefully dialed their number? You get Google returns of complaints and legal actions against Buzz before the company's website even comes up. Customers used to tell me this when I would field complaint calls regarding Buzz's Long Distance practices, usually involving some elderly person in a nursing home or who was obviously confused on the tape recording. Google Buzz Telecom and these are the first two returns about the NW Indiana Buzz. Now isn't it true, Keanan, that you told me in a Hubbard-book-lined room that I had to take "courses" written by L. Ron Hubbard, founder of Scientology, if I was to be considered for further promotion? Russ and Rob, both offered my Division 4 managerial spot, had both refused to take said classes, and both were not offered the promotion as a result. Myself, ignorant to the true purpose of these classes, which had NOTHING TO DO WITH WEB DESIGN, took a few courses with initial delight thinking only of the slight pay raise and duty to my family. It is an insult to any grown adult claiming we needed to use a child's dictionary, as you morons forced us to do in those classes, whenever we couldn't define a word with precision. Isn't it also true the company did not offer health benefits because Scientology doesn't support modern medicine, insisting that one can actually think away disease and parasites? That's what Dan York told me. Or is it because the Church of Scientology is just a crooked pyramid scheme invented by a SCIENCE FICTION WRITER (and a bad one at that... Battlefield Earth... zomg) that sucks up every penny it can steal and punishes it critics and even its followers? I know, and every other employee that worked under me knew, that every single computer in our department had at least some, if not all, pirated or otherwise illegally licensed/installed software. We had passed around the same copy of Office 95 that was given to me by management. I was told by the company I reported you people to that the chances of the case being "won" was slim due to the puny size of the company and lack or recorded evidence of by who and when the software was installed by. Only after I was promoted and after I had to submit at least several different written requests to update the copies of MS Windows XP, Office, and Adobe Suites to legally licensed, fully registered versions. When I was hired, the company had been in operations for at least 2 years with many hundreds of websites built with pirated software. When we went on our little strike and were fired, the software, pay, and the Scientology based company training were our, or at least my, biggest complaints. I was the overseer and sole person responsible for the entire web design department, including server maintenance and technical support, customer service, blah blah bah. There were 10 web designers/site maintainers plus 2-3 customer service reps under me... and I made TEN DOLLARS AN HOUR. I asked for $12 an hour. The designers, who typically get paid $12-20 an hour or more at real web design firms, were asking for $9. Some of them were making $6 an hour. Never mind any benefits of any kind.... I imagine the only reason any of us could deal with the pay initially was the fact we were drunk with infatuation that we had computer/design jobs in NW Indiana. In short: I'm proud of my decision to not sit idly by as my employer took advantage of myself, my employees, and my customers. Perhaps I did not execute my plan to perfection, but still, your company is out of our home. Good riddance. Note to readers: Buzz Telecom is now Buzzazz, located at http://www.buzzazz.com/ and is now based in the Scientology stronghold city of Clearwater, Florida. The fact they have a PO Box instead of a proper office address is suspicious at least, especially since their phone number has a Chicago area code. And that picture of the chick with the 2 suits behind her are not Buzz employees, but rather taken from a stock photo web site. Enjoy your life of lies. Ryan C. Mack

Though Ryan did make some pretty bogus statements I think I've touched on enough valid arguments about his company throughout this site. Review your rebuttal's Mr. K & Mr. K. BTW,,, I believe this site supports the first ammendment very well. I do believe a business has every right to make up for past mistakes, but not at the expenditure of people who are simply looking to make an honest living and still get paid what they're worth. I hope you did something about your Go-To boy. He is utterly useless in that position. Yes I'm talking about Dan. Wouldn't it have been easier and CHEAPER not to relay everything to us through him? He knew nothing about what web-design involved and yet he made a statement about how cra**y some of the sites looked, from the people he helped hire. Hypocryte? Nah, he just didn't know what he was talking about. And another thing, the money that was spent just "BEEFING UP" the web design department. Most of it was necessity because the one or two computers you had were not capable of running the web-design software without greatly reducing productivity or could not run it at all. Not to mention you didn't have enough licenses to cover your putting Windows and the professional web-designing software on them, to even warrant any hiring of more designers. You were forcing us to partake in illegal activites in order to do our job. Why did you hire us when you didn't have money for equipment or software? I think this is the most valid point Ryan was trying to make. ...and then if you hadn't spent the money, you were still going to rate us on weekly performance REGARDLESS OF OUR EQUIPMENT!!!!! Get real! I can keep going... don't you know 90% of those sites were graphic oriented which meant extra time spent creating digital art that we weren't being compensated for. If Dan wanted nice looking sites to go out the door he should know that it involved better graphics that the customer may or may not be able to supply. Or did they want an all text site? Ever hear of Graphic Designers. Oh and don't you know sometimes it takes more money to make more money? I'm not really trying to take your corporation down, if anything I hope these statements help you to evaluate how you MANAGE your business, so that those customers can get what they really paid for.
