Budge Industries, Henderson, Kentucky VERY CHEAPLY MADE PRODUCT! Unscrupulous company! Henderson Kentucky
I purchased a BUDGE car cover from Auto Zone for $69. It had a 10 year guarantee, and it was MADE IN AMERICA, which I thought was great! I put it on my car every night for 3 months. It started shredding after just one month, and little pieces of white product covered my car every time I removed the cover. After just 5 weeks, holes started appearing in the cover! I called the company, and all I got was a recording, telling me how to return the product, stating that I had to pay postage.
Because I am a senior citizen, and rely only on Social Security as my income, I enclosed a note with the ruined cover, requesting a full refund, as well as the cost of postage. I explained in my letter, that I could not afford to keep returning a cover that was so poorly made, and lasted less than 4 months! I told them I did NOT want another cheap cover, just a refund.
Imagine my shock when the postman delivered another cheaply made cover to my home!
I immediately tried to call the company, but they do not answer their phones! All I get is a recording. I left them a message, telling them that I wish I would have read all of the online reviews BEFORE purchasing the cover from Auto Zone.
Just type in BUDGE INDUSTRIES online, and you will see, ALL of the reviews state how cheaply made the covers are, and how unscrupulous the company is!
I only wish I would have known this BEFORE I spent $69, and $13 to return the cheap flimsy cover to this despicable company!
