*UPDATE* Someone should start a Class Action Suit against these Fraudsters!

This is my opinion for what it is worth!

I see the 2 ways they shill bid against the customer as it is obvious they are protecting their item and the cost they want for it by shill bidding.

1...Has anyone told them Shill Bidding is a Crime and Punishable by Law?

2..They will protect the cost of their item from lower bids, no matter what.

3..Why start at a 1.00? start at the price you want, and keep it legal

Disceptive Practices ---someone should start a Class Action law Suit against them I would certainly join one.

4...Your auctions are rigged. I can prove it ..I watched you remove 2 bids 3mins before the close of an auction cause your shiller bidder screw up

5... ebay has Feedback, Forums and keeps the auctions won for ALL to see for 90days. At least the giants of auctioning are at least HONEST!!maybe some sellers are not-- by comparison to bidz by business practices --ebay are on top of things and genuine--You guys are deceptive in all of your business.

How do they do the shilling?, This is my theory...

They do it 2 ways manually and auto. Maybe more!

....and there is 2 ways to bid!!

They may use an auto bid system (set up in Luthuania, I heard)..which will kick in their funny misspelled senseless addy names they use--then when the price they want is reached from their auto bid --they are gone---they then let the customers still bidding battle it out. This method is great for the bidding process everyone just want to keep on going to get that eye candy--and they will, the auto shiller keeps them from selling too low (comparative to eBays reserve system).

Manually..**BEWARE* just in 1hour--I saw this happen twice, and again I am not watching EVERY auction on Bidz --there are thousands---and hey Bidz..I HAVE A COPY of the History.

The bidder is going on his merry way bidding 1.00 at a time..towards the close or higher price they have determined they want for the item--the shiller then manually puts the bid in-- for instance 50 in the box instead of just hitting bid which could be going at a dollar, three or five, the unsuspecting customer expecting it to be going at a dollar then auto clicks bid and he gets the item with the 50 increase written in by the shiller, in my case today it was a 1,000 increase. The shiller battling with me wrote in 1000...i didnt see that, as I was busy bidding up my dollar and clicked..I won of course, at 1250 (normally sells for between 230-280). I went to live chat they gave me some lame answer. My fault they said! the other bidder can write the bid amount in and SET the amount you are just about to click on. Moral: watch the Bid amount change as well as the dollar amount of the item.

I saw another shiller write in 650 for an unsuspecting customer ...and he clicked just like me, he won and like me must have said what just happened The unsuspecting customer was at 147..the shiller put 503 the customer then clicked he won for 650. So, Manually they will put in larger amounts at the near end. Most times the customer is actually bidding against the auto shiller or a manual shiller. Not every item is auto shilled or manual shilled mainly the higher priced items. So sometimes a customer might get lucky I guess. All higher priced items are pretty much protected this way.

I am amazed that regular Bidz customers havnt noticed this pattern...and yes BIDZ your stupid little shiller names are a dead giveaway.

and Yes I have saw this happen often and regular and I have copies of some of your bogus rigged auctions and shill bidding.

Watch this site, watch for shilling, don't be a victim, you just may be bidding against them and not Joe Smith in another State!.

As far as this company goes and my opinion of them, I think they may be a Chinese Company here in the States with all items made in China. Yes...even the brand names! Most brand named companies have factories there now.

Bidz in my opinion may have all Chinese goods and run their business unamerican (no wonder recent toys have been recalled, from large companies the large companies are in China now--darn everything is made in China wake up America, China has found a way to be #1 in the World Market thru goods, not WPD. Wake up America China owns us now.

Hi There Lynne, I recognize you from other posts in this forum particularly the one between the Aussie and You , obvious to me who is right and wrong, and the lies, Your company would not go to the trouble to call her by telephone in Australia anyways-- but that is BTW... and NO I am not wrong! 1..Research ..yes and whats more I have keep copies. 2..Shill bidding is illegal just because you may or may not manually shill bid, shill bidding using a back auto server is still illegal ---and to the trained eye, quite obvious. 3..FYI shill bidding can only be done by the SELLER of the item..(bidding on their OWN items to raise the price).. (a buyer cannot shill bid), so your statement about being tolerant of shill bidding, is worthless. 4..Do not compare yourselves to eBay, they have strict guidlines and their auctions are NOT rigged, their profile on the BBB reflects that, they are a venue which allows sellers to use and sell, and despite (bad sellers) they will be still be around long after you are gone. Whats more they follow the American way of conducting business and right or wrong they are the giants, you folks grovel at eBays feet, if you were a seller on eBay they would have stomped you out, long ago, had you been an honest company, you might have been able to give them a run for their position....and you Lynne what they pay you for being their "stooge" --(I mean advocate). 7.35 an hour? .. Do you sleep well at night?. 4. In the instance I refer to my previous post--Yes the bids were REMOVED dont even go where you went the the Aussie lady, I am not a liar, I witnessed it whats more I contacted your customer service right away ( no sense in that thought reporting shillers to the shillers Huh!) I had my reasons --and I kept copies. What happened? MO--"your back auto bidder" topped a customers wrong entry-- is what happened --and being that is was 4k on an item normally sold at 500, both bids were indeed quickly removed within 2 mins, so, dont tell me this propaganda and FYI I have a copy of the history of that auction. Shall I post it here for you to see?? 5..Regarding the autobid I am familiar with that from a customers point of view and what the customer sees and is led to believe --but I am talking about your OTHER auto bid system set to outdo customers autobids whats more I have watched it in action, want to know how I do it? Well instead of going back and forth here wasting MY time I can put my money where my mouth is--but be very prepared. 6..This is NOT an enquiry. 7.....and NO I am NOT completely wrong, Hey, just maybe I can prove it too, and just maybe I will. I do not think you have heard the last of me, I am awaiting a billing situation with your company, lets see if that will add more fuel to the fire. and FYI..I am NOT an unhappy customer that came here to complain. Just someone who looks out for the little guy!. 8..More importantly, my question to you is, How come no-one has sued you yet for charging a 3% credt card transaction fee or caught you before now-- for other illegal practices???that is my question? ...and you have a blessed day too Lynne, your world just might get "rocked"! Anyone interested in a Class Action Suit, unfair Billing Practices, illegal shill bidding, bid rigging, inflated shipping and handling, but to name a few.??

Thanks for your inquiries. You have done alot of research but you are completely wrong. Bidz.com does not practice shill bidding at all and does not tolerate it. 1. Shill bidding is illegal and NOT tolerated by Bidz 2. We loose money on merchandise because we do not make what we paid. 3.We are known for our $1.00 auctions and will keep it that way. 4.No bids are ever removed. All bids are shown in the Bid History. 5. Every company has their own ways of keeping track of the items and unlike eBay, we are the sellers. eBay has powersellers, sellers, ect. we dont all jewelry is sold by bidz and we have all records of these items. Regarding the autobid, The AutoBid system will never bid over the Maximum bid amount that you enter, and it will outbid other bidders by only one dollar. AutoBid will begin outbidding others in the LAST 5 seconds of the auction. To avoid being outbid by another AutoBid bidders check the status of your Auto Bid by clicking on View my AutoBid(s) in My Bidz Control Center. If another bidders Maximum Bid is of a greater amount than yours, your status will read "Losing Bid", and you will need to place a higher AutoBid to stay in the running.
