This online auction site auctions jewelry that had I known the real quality apart from all their hype...would have never purchased. It was sub par to Walmart in quality.... so buyer beware. Not being pleased with the quality of these items at all I sent it back.

Initially they charged an exorbitant rate to send it in addition to charging a tran fee which was not explained but was also high. Two chintzy bracelets and a pair of stud earings probably not more than 2 oz worth of weight at most and their postage and trans fee charge for these was $31.27. It was sent by parcel post and they took their sweet time in sending it.

They charged me more than the 15 percent restocking fee that they claim they charge for returns. On a $276.97 purchase I was only refunded $207.40. This translates to their keeping $69.57 of my money plus getting these sub standard items back in the same condition that I received them and I naturally had to pay for the postage for sending them back.

They make their money by ripping off customers who are returning merchandise.

I would NEVER buy from this auction site again and would caution anyone to stay away from bidding on their inferior merchandise. The items are hyped and not at all the quality they seem to be and then they get you with inflated postage and tran fees charges which are all non-refundable in addition to their re-stocking fee of over 15%.

How much trouble can it be to re-stock small items of cheap jewelry sent to you in envelopes and not even boxed?

All I can say is buyer beware of bidding at Bidz.com you just might win and be sorely dissapointed with their method of ripping you off!!!

I see your report was several months ago but i suggest you still and try to call your credit card, to file a report if anything. The time may have passed for you, but the credit card company will protect you and get your money back. You should still give it a shot if your money was truly was not refunded fairly
