In response to your foolish comment: The Compare Price is the maximum price other jewelers advertise online, for similar or the same jewelry item. *****This price in no way reflects an appraised value, worth, or suggested retail price.***** This is still fraudulent advertising, by "SUGGESTING" that the item would sell for $2500 by a "Regular" retail jeweler is Ludicrous and false representation of a product. If a "Regular" retail Jeweler advertised and sold this SAME or SIMILAR item for $2500 (when the retail value is a little over $100), it would be considered an outright rip-off. and the $1 reserve price excuse is just an excuse, and a feable attempt to justify your rip-off, and should probably alert other buyers that they probably will be purchasing cheap dimestore products and not the items as represented with a "COMPARABLE" value. You are just scrambling to come up with excuses for ripping me off for the lousy $30 Just refund the $30 and give it up. You know you fraudulently represented this product. BigMike

Carole and Mike, Please understand the compare price is not the retail price. Despite the amount that is listed there, we are an auction site and do not set retail prices or even suggested retail prices on our auctions. I will post this once more. Please consider it carefully: "The Compare Price is the maximum price other jewelers advertise online, for similar or the same jewelry item. *****This price in no way reflects an appraised value, worth, or suggested retail price.***** You should always make sure to have all the information provided in the description page of the auction evaluated with your local appraiser/jeweler before you bid or buy. The purpose of the Compare Price is to demonstrate the advantage of a $1 No Reserve auction." The restocking fee may apply to any returned item. We will refund in full if the customer received the item damaged, defective or listed as (for example) gold and they received silver. Since the return was none of these things, the restocking fee will apply. To all customers: Please thoroughly evaluate the item you are bidding on. Even before you pay, please contact Live Help with specific questions so that we may assist you before the item is paid and becomes a return. This issue will not be pursued further.

In Response to BigMike turned into Carole... Yes - He is a relative- Whom I recomended Bidz.com to... He was also ripped off and feeling responsible - since I told him about this site - I was helping him with getting his money back, and composed the letters for him... and mistakenly - out of habit signed my name. The mistaken name should in no way affect whether or not HE gets his money back. He registered under his name. HE used his credit card to purchase the item. HE was the person ripped off.

That is a load of crap. I returned the item in good condition. It was NOT AS Described - (according to the posting it was "compared" to a "similar" item valued at $2500!!! - which it was not even close!!! to "AS DESCRIBED") The item was "appraised" at $120 so in my opinion this is FALSE ADVERTISING (which is FRAUD) and an outright rip-off and I would like my $30

The user returned the ring based on the compare price of the item. A restocking fee was applied because we do not advertise price. As we are an auction site, we do not post retail prices and the customers can cease bidding at any time. We only honor an appraisal if a jeweler will lend his/her name to prove an error in advertised quality or materials. Since the gold, gems, and quality were as described, we charge a restocking fee for returned items such as this. Also, shipping, fees and taxes are non-refundable. According to our notes, the jeweler appraised the ring at $150. All together with shipping and fees, the user paid $140. It was actually appraised about $20 higher than what was paid. Please see below to understand the compare price. ((( link redacted by ROR))) The Compare Price is the maximum price other jewelers advertise online, for similar or the same jewelry item.
