Bidz WARNING DO NOT DEAL WITH BIDZ They didn't sent my items, gave me a bogus tracking info and refused to take any responsibility for non-delivery of my items. BEWARE ripoff Culver City California
I wish I had found this site sooner ! Beware of Bidz.com ! They had taken my money, charged me $34.50 for delivery and never delivered my order. This was 3 months ago. The tracking number they gave me was a bogus number, it only tracks a bulk 15 lbs package from California to Newark NJ. My order had the total weight of approx 198g and it meant to be shipped to Sydney, Australia. Bidz.com are unwilling to provide a correct tracking/postal info which will confirm that my package has been shipped to my home address and they insist that such info is "not available".
At the same time they do request, that I sign a notarized letter reporting my items as 'missing/lost in post'. To sign a notarized letter will cost me $60 and to have it posted to US by a registered mail another $10.50 not to mention the fact, that I'm not convinced that my items were 'lost in mail' and personaly I do believe they were never sent out. This is the reason I insist that they do give me an acceptable tracking/postal number (which shows my delivery address) to accertain that my order was indeed sent out and lost in post. THEY REFUSE TO PROVIDE SUCH INFORMATION.
I do intend to lodge a formal complaint with the relevant authorities:
Fedex and USPS for mail fraud (bogus tracking number), FBI & BBB (on-line claims) for internet fraud (failure to deliver).
I also intend to contact australian press/media to expose this company to the australian public. People should be warned against dealing with Bidz.com
