BayFair Auto Repair kept my car for 40 days to repair a muffler, little did I know they had repaired my front fender because of something that happened while my car was at their establishment. They deny any fender repairs.

I brought by car to BayFair Auto repair to fix a muffler. I called after a week and a half to find out if it was done yet. They replied with "they would check it today and call me tomorrow", which they didn't do.

After 40 days at their shop I finally picked up my car. I noticed a mirror broken, and later that same day, I noticed bubbled paint, tape with paint on it where they had tried to mask off where they had attempted to cover body and paint repairs. Something had happened to my car while at their facility.

I confronted Bay Fair Auto of what I had found and they stated that they did not do anything other than what I had requested. They also stated that they were not responsible for anything that happened to my car while at their facitlity.

They never went out to look at my car, or what I was complaining about. I do know however, they asked me to sign the waiver, stating that they were not responsible, the date I picked the car up. I have had my car fixed their before, a few times and never have I ever signed that area before.

I know when I went to complain, the receipts sitting on the counter from others having their cars fixed, none of them had signed the waiver area either. If checked, I'll bet, the receipts that they do have have not been signed in that area. Just mine, because they are guilty of body damage and don't want to correct it like they should.

All that I ask is that my car be fixed correctly. I understand things happen, but I also beleive that If you make a mistake or have an accident, you should correct it in good faith.
