I'm afraid that I may have been scammed as well and I am canceling immediately! By right, we are supposed to have 30 days to cancel a contract, and I wonder how that will go down. I was first contacted by Stphen Raye and he explained that I would be making $500 profit off the merchant machines and residual incomes. He just stated to me that I'd be making around $2 000 for $100 000 of business transactions down through terminals that you sell to various places. He told me that $19.95 would be for the website hosting per month and the $100, a one time fee through AIG would be billed to my card. I was also guarunteed a capitalizing website like the one shown at www.bankcardempire.com and tracking system to track visitors to the site. He said that I could get my money back for the $100. However, after speaking to Julia from another source that called me back where she couldn't leave her last name, that I could only get the refund by showing proof that I advertised each month either through a newspaper, online, or by e-mail. AFter seeing so many complaints into this company, I thought I'd better just cancel right away! So, tomorrow I will go to my bank where the money was taken out of and speak to them about this matter. I couldn't leave a message through their site, however Stephen Raye gave me a toll free number: 1-877-227-3597. After being recalled when they said that they needed to confirm my phone number, Julia gave me the same number to recall if I had any further questions: 1-877-227-3597.

I hope this helps, and Ihope I'm not scammed! It seemed like a good opportunity to me. however, after hearing complaints that they may be a bogus company and the customer service isn't even there. Well, it makes me question their legality! Oh, I will keep you posted! I also like you don't want to lose my shirt or get scammed!! The credit card number I gave them goes directly into my bank account!

""You don't have a 'right' to cancel any contract unless it is spelled out in writing and you've signed in agreement to the terms."" INCORRECT. There are MANY instances where a contract or a clause in the contract may be illegal and unenforceable. This can be due to a violation of FEDERAL or STATE laws and commerce regulations. There is a federal FTC 3 day rule that applies mainly to door-to-door sales, when the sales person comes to you UNSOLICITED. The STATES have many laws regarding business and commerce. The OP should check with the Office of the AG of his/her state for specifics and possible remedies.

No "right" to cancel within 30 days

There is no federal or state law that provides a 30 day buyers remorse cancelation allowance. You don't have a "right" to cancel any contract unless it is spelled out in writing and you've signed in agreement to the terms. Good luck...
