Avas Flowers Purchased & Advance Paid IN FULL for flowers for birthday party then HOURS before delivery due ask for MORE MONEY Nationwide
Three weeks prior to my husbands 40th birthday party, i started pricing floral arrangements. I finally decided to go with Avasa Flowers because they were about $25 less then the others.
They asked that i pay in full for the flowers ahead of time, which i did.
The day of my party, i get a phone call 2 hours before they are supposed to delivery the 7 arrangements.
They say they need an ADDITIONAL $250 in order to fulfill my order! Nobody in the 3 weeks prior to my party decided to give me a heads up of this issue so i actually had a chance to shop elsewhere.
My hands were tied- i had people setting up tables, caterers, guests arriving...and no way to arrange a new florist- and they knew it!
I begged and begged to please fill the order
Finally after speaking with a SUPERVISOR they said either pay the money or cancel the deal!
Insane- this is defiantly a way to rip someone off holding for ransom something important they need in just hours away!
I asked to atleast split the $ difference and they wouldn't budge.
Absolutely DISGUSTING!!!
BEWARE! Watch your dream party or event be shattered just as its all about to start!
