Don't waste your time with these clowns...... call your state Attorney General's office and insurance commissioner's office, too. They have already been sued for 1.5 mil in 2008 for non-disclosure to customers.  Evidently they haven't learned their lesson.  Asurion needs to stop hiding behind the skirts of the big cell phone companies and do its job- not just to make huge profits for its private owners (yes, you heard that right), but to its customers. 

Asurion-

fails to disclose unfairly high deductibles.
has a lengthy and unwieldy claim filing service.
stalls on completion of claims.
requires 'additional documentation' only on certain customers, but refuses to disclose what that process is and how it is gathered (if they are checking your credit report without your consent, that is breaking the law)
sends 'refurbished' items to the customer, mostly older than what you lost in the first place.  That's not replacement.
does not always use manufacturer's parts in these 'refurbished' phones.

Think twice before you sign up with these clowns.  And if we ALL complain to our cell phone carriers maybe they will get a clue and stop marketing to these idiots.
