A.R.A Repeated harrasing and threatening calls to myself and relatives stating they were implying that i was being arrested & sending "units" to my place of employment Villa park IL
On 3/27/2018 a woman named Ms. Bowman and a Terry Bradley called my place of employment and my cell phone, and prior to that they would call a couple of times a day leaving messages and asking that I return calls to 844-808-1689 x 209. they would also call from spammed local numbers to disguise their calls.
Everytime they called they would imply that they were sending the police or sending "units" to serve me from Franklin County at my home of place of employment to serve me judgement papers. I asked they to stop calling but they didnt. Then I recieved a call from my mother in law on 3/27/18 stating that this company had called my brother in law and her brother, as well as her. I dont even have a phone number for her brother or my brother in law so how they got their numbers was beyond me.
Their messages to them for me was for me to call 844-808-1689 x 209 because someone stole my idenity and it was important that I speak with Ms. Bowman or this Terry Bradley. At the time I didnt know the company name until I finally called the number they left for me and it sounded like some boiler room operation.
A man answered ARA, put me on hold and the hold nusic sounded like a jack in the box playing then a Ms. Bowman answered the phone, acknowledged my name and state that I was in denial. I demanded that she stop calling. I filed a complaint with the CFPB & Attorney General.
On 4/13/18 I recieved my response back from the CFPB with a copy of the letter from A.R.A stating that I had mistaken their company for someone else because the number that was listed on my compliant 844-808-1689 was not their number but in fact their real number is 888-409-5060. On the letter they listed their P.O Box 5002 as their address, which after further investigation their physical address is 1415 S. Ardmore Ave Villa Park, IL 60181 but they use the P.O Box as their address. This is their address and in fact this is the company that has called me and harrassed me to no end.
I would like to start a class action lawsuit on this company.
