Amerigas Propane CHARGED for canceling service because of move!? Rockledge, Florida
We are a military family and have never been charged to shut off our utilities when it came time to relocate, and we have relocated 7 times so far. I called Amerigas to come remove the tank we rented from them for 3 years and disconnect our service so we could move to our next duty station and they told me it would be $60 because they had to send out a tech. It's their tank, you would think they would want it back after we were done with it. She said it would only be $40 if we left the tank there for the next renters to use. Of course they would like that because then the next renters would be more likely to use them since the tank is already there. If they pick another company I wonder how much they would charge them to come get it? I've been a loyal customer for 3 years and they CHARGE me to cancel my service. That's a hell of a thank you for using us, now F@ck off! What happened to customer service before greed? I've told every military wife connection I can find not to use them when they get here, the internet is a wonderful thing. Amerigas is nothing but a bunch of greedy crooks.
